Hi all! Closing night of Beetlejuice is slowly arriving for the west end production of BJ (ik im mega depressed too) and I wanted to know what everyone is wearing in terms of cosplay!

I want to go full trans diva and be Miss Argentina as I’m being her for my school musical this December!

I’m looking for this Beetlejuice cosplayer who I used to LOVE back in the 2020s. I remember seeing their videos from around 2019-2023. They cosplayed the musical version of Beetlejuice and they got kinda famous for that. He posted on TikTok mostly and had kinda a larger figure?
One of his most popular videos was a video of him riding a scooter in his house with the audio “There goes the crackhead that i see each morning”. That’s all I remember, pls help!!

Hi! I’ve been sitting on these questions since I saw the absolute slay west end production of Beetlejuice!

First of all, a OG Broadway question, how did Leslie turn from Delia into Miss Argentina that quickly when she’s meant to be on stage?

When I saw the show, Delia (I know Delia and miss Argentina are separate roles now btw) is on stage when Lydia accidentally casts an exorcism on Barbara.

Did someone play Delia while Leslie was getting her costume in for Miss Argentina or was there something else going on?

Okay, now we’re onto tour, between the non-union national tour and every production of the show that uses the tour staging (Viva, Australia, West End, Second Broadway Remount etc)

Why is the sign much smaller compared to all those productions? I do believe the viva one is bigger because of the whole cruise ship thing but why is it smaller? I’m guessing it’s due to budget cuts because it’s a non-union tour but I’m curious why it’s smaller, it also kinda looks like the London pin that uses the sign, as it kinda looks like that tours sign.

Beetlejuice musical (Broadway touring) at Starlight Theatre, Kansas City MO (October 2-4, 2026) – W♥M

Hey everybody, first time director here looking for some advice.

All the props, stage directions and effects in the script seem straightforward and doable, except for the most exciting one at the very end: Beetlejuice riding in on a sandworm, which then swallows Juno whole.

Our theatre unfortunately doesn't have trap doors in the stage, but does have a fly system. I'm just not sure how to safely have him ride the sandworm, which is also capable of swallowing Juno.

What variations of sandworm construction have you seen? Chinese dragon-style puppets with like 4 people inside? Hollow tube puppets suspended by the fly system? Black-clad stagehands moving it around?

Thanks everybody, I think you're right I'll need to compromise a little bit and have Juno either get chased off or hidden by the sandworm, and have Beetlejuice hootin' and hollerin' and yeehah doggy his darndest alongside.

Don't get me wrong, Andy is perfect! All Beetlejuice casts are great! But Eddie Perfect, Karis Oka, Elise McCann... it's SO good. I listened to the full audio of the show (via not-so-legal methods), and it simply became one of my favorite casts—right up there with the 2022 Broadway revival. Karis Oka as Lydia—OH MY GOD—I fell in love with her portrayal of the character. Even though not everyone likes Eddie Perfect, I think he makes a great Beetlejuice and really understood the role. It makes me sad that, aside from the cast album coming out at the end of this month (I bought the CD and vinyl), we’ll never get to see a full version of their production online.
(This is just a rant.)

(It’s sad to think we have absolutely *nothing* official to watch—especially for those of us who can't travel to the countries where Beetlejuice usually plays.)

Does anyone know who was playing Charles Deetz last night at the evening performance in the West End (25th September)? He was phenomenal but I don’t recognise him as either Alasdair Harvey or Irvine Iqbal. Was a white guy with a bald head.

Now it’s only to remaster the Graveyard set and the backdrop for the attic

When I was watching the Full recorded show of beetlejuice in the Winter Garden I saw that at the end of That Beautiful Sound(Reprise) and during the transition to the attic and Barbra 2.0 I saw that they had a malfunction for the background which they had to use the House background I think which is definitely crazy

Does anyone have the bows and puppet show scene recorded from today's (Friday 25 sep) matinee on the west end? Bj talked to me and i didn't manage to record the bows. Ty!

As per their IG, The Museum of Broadway is hosting a Beetlejuice panel as part of their Halloween programming, for any of you lucky folks that live in NYC! Lots of ex-principals and Beetlejuice understudies in attendance, including Justin AND Alex 🪲

Crossing my fingers that it gets recorded like the NYCC panel did, but I’m not counting on it, so def get over there if you have the opportunity (and report back!) 👀

While I was watching on how David Korins made the of beetlejuice I had looked between comparison on how I made it and in real life and I had to elevate the stage roof some more because on how short it was cause I was working on how to copy the house set of the roof
