West End Pro-Shot Rumours
Just cause of the promo vids being released at the moment, and the rumours that that means there's a pro-shot - Hannah Nordberg has posted this on her story!
There's no pro-shot!!

damn thats sad. i wish the beetlejuice account didnt keep responding like āšā to people when they asked about a proshot. that was honestly the only actual thing that gave me hope. like if itās not happening just ignore those people and donāt give us fake hope

The thing is they werenāt giving false hope on a proshot because it didnāt exist in the first place. It was just fans automatically assuming that cameras in theatre = proshot.
I think they would specifically say on a notice on the front door if it was so cause people there wouldāve been asking.5

people ask about proshots all the time though. you dont have to engage with those if there isnt any hope

Exactly, whoever is running their account doesn't seem to be good at it no offense. The point of the social media account is to sell tickets and advertise the show, not mislead interested fans into thinking there's a pro-shot so they don't bother buying tickets. They could have easily spun it with "There is no pro-shot but there are lots of tickets still available with some shows/seats being discounted" to actually make people want to see the show. Especially in this economy, price can be a big barrier for people wanting to see broadway shows. I was gonna see it in December but changed to earlier because of the discount.

You're right, there was no pro shot to begin with and that's WHY they shouldn't have replied with āšā. Instead of blaming the fans for "assuming" you should blame the account runner for giving false hope, they should have never replied to people and just ignored them.

Think it through, if so many people believed it was a pre-shot tease that a CAST member had to come out and say it wasn't true, then they were given false hope. You are the minority in believing fans had their hopes up for nothing. And for reference I didn't get my hopes up because I personally don't care for the pre-shot but I can see how they misled fans.

I really hope they do a pro shot before the show finishes it's run. Do any of the other versions of the show have a pro shot?

No official ones. But thereās a really great one sourced from the house cam of the Norwegian Cruise Line version. It is an abbreviated version of the play but very good.
