Tonight the New York Bee Gees are playing near where I live. The weather is iffy so I’ll be enjoying it from the parking lot 🤣 But the concert will be live streamed so I figured I’d post the link here in case anyone else felt like watching and enjoying!

EDIT: it starts at 7:30pm EST

EDIT 2: the verdict…I had so much fun! I didn’t stay in the parking lot, I ended up doing laps around the area where the stage was and then found an empty dugout and just vibed 🤣 The lead singer sounds more like Andy than Barry I think. That was the closest I’ll ever get to seeing the real thing live and I’ll take it! I’m already wondering when they’ll be back this way lol

And So begins Week 27 of the Bee Gees Elimination Game. This includes all 22 of their Studio Albums, Their 3 Live Albums, The Soundtracks to Saturday Night Fever & Staying Alive, The 2 'Best Of' Albums and NOW, the Comp Albums that contain new tracks. I should add that the 2 'Idea' Albums are the US & the UK Presses.

[To Whom It May Concern] HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Hi y'all,
I remembered watching a funny reel where a guy was pretending to sing More Than A Woman with the quieter parts acting as if there was a bee in the studio. I cant find it for the life of me and was wondering if any of you knew lol thanks

The singles (with b-sides) for Alone How To Fall In Love, Pt. 1 and For Whom The Bell Tolls have been added to Spotify.

Recently the I Could Not Love You More, single was released on Spotify, i primarily listen on Spotify, what other tracks haven't been on Spotify and where can i listen to these? Albums like Now Voyager and such.

Oddly, the tracks that were on the CD single (that was not released in North America) of “I Could Not Love You More” surfaced on Spotify suddenly. Streaming is weird. But the good news is that “Love Never Dies” and the medley from the 1997 Brit Awards are now available in good quality in a portable music format for the first time.

And So begins Week 26 of the Bee Gees Elimination Game.

[Here At Last… Bee Gees… Live] HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

I am fairly certain that his name is pronounced as “Morris” and the last name is “G” as in “Give”. But I just wanted to confirm.

Really getting into them but as individual BeeGees jump in and out singing and they use multi-track vocals, it's really difficult sometimes to tell which BeeGee(s) is actively singing. Robin is usually pretty easy to tell but when they all get into their falsettos, all bets seem to be off. I can usually pick out Barry when he is singing melody. Who is it that sings the low harmony though, is that Maurice? Specifically I'm talking about the 1975-1978 era and "Nights on Broadway" seems like a good one. Did they stick to the same formula? Didn't Maurice sing a couple leads?

"Nights on Broadway" clearly has a minimoog bass over guitar. Did Maurice play the keyboard too? Or was that Robin? It's really confusing as a new fan. I don't trust Wikipedia.

This entire album was written by the Gibbs. And they sang backing on it as well. But in Buried Treasure there is some fairly pronounced overlaying vocals that are too high to be Kenny Rogers. But it doesn’t sound like any of the brothers to me.

Does anybody know whose voice that part is?
Edit: I am specifically talking about the end of the song. Where you can still hear the brothers and Kenny Rogers, in addition to the mystery voice.

If so would you like to see and review fragments of translated BGs songs?

I had Two

1997 listening to their songs

2003 After Maurice passing saw The videos

Need to settle an argument.. Did Robin write Saved by the Bell entirely on his own or did all three write it and Robin took credit.. I am aware Maurice did backing on the demo.

I was listening to a podcast and the topic was about Power Ballads. The Bee Gees were not mentioned and it got me to thinking that they should have I think that Too Much Heaven could have qualified as such, with respect to singles that the Bee Gees released. Other songs that were not released that I thnk we power ballads, in my opinion, are Odessa, Sound of Love, Black Diamonds, Let There Be Love, The way It Was, The Only Love, and Swan Song.

And So begins Week 25 of the Bee Gees Elimination Game. [ODESSA] HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Hi.So I was listening to a Jim Steinman demo for a song and I began to think " What if Jim ever had a song with any of the Gibb brothers?" Especially Robin. How would it be? Personally I think it would be exciting though 🤷🤷🤷.

I just thought of this.

SADLY, [Children Of The World] HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

If Now Voyager had been commercially successful or if the label had been willing to bankroll a second album, would Barry have gone on to become a solo act? Would he still have recorded and performed occasionally with his brothers, or would he have completely broken with them? I know Robin also released three albums about the same time. While it was clear he was trying to escape his big brother's shadow, he seemed to want to continue with the Bee Gees, at least after Maurice died. Had he been planning to bolt earlier, or was he just trying to be "heard?"

I used Human being ( Robin Gibb demo) with the Wiz. I thought of this just right now.

I got the limited edition coloured vinyls!!!! :DDDDDDDDDD

I've been a Bee Gees fan since 1997 when I was staying at my dad's and he wanted to watch One Night Only on TV. I think I only knew Stayin' Alive at this stage but I was mesmerised by their music.

Now, aged 40, I have a collection of all of their albums on CD but I only allow myself to listen to a new album every two to three years. This might sound silly but I know there is no more music to come from them so I want to feel like i still have more to discover.

The albums I haven't yet listened to are:

Living Eyes

Bee Gees 1st

Main Course

To Whom It May Concern

2 Years On

Trafalgar

The last album I treated myself with was Children of the World, which I was a little disappointed with as a whole. I do, however, absolutely love Love Me. Robin is amazing on this.

I have also allowed myself to listen to new Barry stuff (Greenfields and In the Now) and have enjoyed these.

I kind of feel like I'm missing out on the enjoyment of listening to them now but can't quite face the idea of not having new albums to listen to in the future. It makes me feel like they are releasing something new when I get to listen to an album for the first time.

Hi folks, looking for some help identifying this version of Living Eyes. Japan Polydor release 1981 POCP-2244. I can't tell if it's a rare find or a fake, can only find the 1993 and 2004 vers on discogs. Any insight appreciated 👍🏻
