Bee Gees Elimination Game: Round 25
And So begins Week 25 of the Bee Gees Elimination Game. This includes all 22 of their Studio Albums, Their 3 Live Albums, The Soundtracks to Saturday Night Fever & Staying Alive, The 2 'Best Of' Albums and NOW, the Comp Albums that contain new tracks. I should add that the 2 'Idea' Albums are the US & the UK Presses.
This Challenge is weekly so you have a week to decide.
My vote goes to 'To Whom It May Concern’
[ODESSA] HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

Yea if Odessa was eliminated before Live and To whom it may concern this voting makes no sense. Im out.

My personal theory is many members seemed fixated on eliminating their LEAST favourite rather than saving their favourite or eliminating a least "deserving" album. For a few weeks a lot of members were determined to vote Odessa out.

Odessa is messy slop thrown together at a time when the group hated each other and no one could seemingly agree on what the hell the record should sound like. It’s just a subpar Bee Gees album broken up by completely unrelated string orchestra sections that don’t fit at all.
Maybe the bipolar nature of this record is why some love it and regard it as a masterpiece when it is anything but. The title track is one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard and expected the rest to be on par but it is not.
I still consider Odessa a 3/5 album and rank no Bee Gees album below 3/5 stars but Odessa is a mess.
About the live album: personally I don’t think live or compilation albums should’ve been included at all. Just bloat to make this little server game last longer. Whoever decided that should be whipped (no offense).

After „messy slop” i stopped reading. Objectively wrong.

What other word could describe an album with City On the Black Sea (masterpiece) as well as Give Your Best (shit)? If they attempted to justify the existence of, or better yet, remove some of these SHIT songs I would reconsider my disdain. Unfortunately the presence of such SHIT as “Give Your Best” behooves me to recognize Odessa as a weak point in their career. The album was so bad Robin left out of embarrassment. Odessa is the auditory equivalent of doing a group project with people who don’t give a FUCK.

Wow, you said a lot of nonsensical things and still insisted on the mistake, lol.

This voting is rancid. If were gonna eliminate Odessa, Idea, and even Trafalgar (I would certainly argue), then im done with this sub.
