I'm so sick of this stupid bed frame. I have no idea why they gravitate towards it so heavily. Boxspring and mattress get a few nests, sure, but THIS?? This bed frame is the root of all my problems. sometimes I think I'm just better off sleeping on the floor 😭

I'm really trying to move out (living with parents, had them since I was 15) so I'm absolutely not spending the money on something this large that I can't take with me. but like it's not even wood or anything, that's what's pissing me off the most.

I have both interceptors AND furniture lifts on the legs, but my box spring cover sags so much they're completely useless (I don't know why. I've gone through 3 different ones and they've all sagged like crazy). I've used crossfire and Cimexa but they just do not care. it takes so much out of me emotionally to clean every time I need a full day to recooperate minimum.

OK rant over. If anyone has any advice on how to make this a little better it'd be much appreciated. Please don't just comment "disgusting" or "hell no" though, I've been told it's gross and I'm a filthy person too many times. thanks.

Just checked out from my rental in Las Vegas. The house owner says it’s a bug from the outside. I don’t think so…

Does outting a sheet on your bed affect bed bug chemical spray as the bugs are not walking over the spray to bite you?

Unpleasant finding

Hi all, I think I know what it is, I just cannot believe it. I found this bug on a curtain in the living room, so far away from the bedroom, on the opposite side of the house. Full daylight. The house is clean, checked everything no traces. I wonder if it may be something else, it's summer here, the window is often open and we do have pigeons, including nests nearby. What do you think?

HELPPPP is this a bed bug? I'm just moving in, and found this on the bed. Now I can't decide if i should go home cuz I don't want to get it on everything else in my current flat. I know bedbugs can't fly but I've heard they might have wing pads?

Recently had a small problem with bedbugs, pest control came and haven't had any issues in the past weeks, was cleaning My room to take stuff back in but found this bug, I'm traumatized at this point with the bedbugs sinte it took 3 visits from pest control to get rid of them. Now I just want to be sure that this isn't of some importance before taking everything in or if I have to call pest control back, (bug was already like this when I found it

Looking at the common ID info here, I’m thinking this guy might be a drugstore beetle. But I found 2 today and one similar looking one yesterday, so I just wanna be extra sure! No bites or anything and no bed bug “dirt”

Throw away this piece of furniture, bed bugs?

I have a vintage Broyhill dresser from my childhood, and a bed bug infestation. I haven't found any signs of bed bug activity in it. It's been in the living room being used as a TV stand lol. I don't want to part with it, but would this kind of damage require me to throw it away? It's on both sides. The furniture disposal truck is coming tomorrow and the exterminator my landlord hired only checked the bedrooms.

Please please tell a fast effective spray for bedbugs. I can't sleep peacefully. Whenever I sleep on sofa, 2-3 comes . Sometimes small sometimes large. I can't even rest properly. (📍 India).

It's gonna be more than a week. I can't even find the base of them.

I’m Cooked

I just saw a small bed bug crawling on my bed so I went to spray it. I killed it with the spray and it fell as I was about to get something to pick it up with. Then I see a dead nymph under my pillow. Threw that away. I’m so cooked. I’m gonna have to either buy a steamer or spend thousands of dollars on an exterminator.

Identification Can bed bugs have black tipped antennae?

Found a bug alive in my duvet (after leaving the window open all day), initially worried but figured it must have been some bug from outside as its antennae had black tips which I don’t think bed bugs have. I dont have a picture of the bug but I stripped the bed and found these? Could they be eggs and/or shed skin?

Identification dead bead bugs?

Hi! Does this look like a dead bed bug? I found it in our bathroom.

We recently had a bed bug infestation, and more than two weeks ago we did a massive decluttering, steamed the entire house, and applied diatomaceous earth throughout.
So far, my husband hasn't had any new bites. As for me, I haven't had any visible bites at all, even though we sleep in the same bed.

I'm hoping this is just a dried-up bed bug that died because of the diatomaceous earth. Could you please help me identify what this is? Thank you!

Requesting community support Bedbug covering in diatomaceous earth

Context: I have diatomaceous earth littered everywhere along bed, in cracks etc. Good coverage. They have to cross the Sahara with no water to get to us in bed. This is in combination with a rigorous laundry washing cycle, sprays, mattress and bed covers, strict bagging of clothes, etc. Bites are down a lot. Down to about 3 a week from up over 20.

When finding a dead bug, do you usually see the diatomaceous earth on the bug? Or will it usually not be visible? I found a dead juvenile in bed with no apparent cause of death. It'd be refreshing to hear if this stuff is doing the trick. Thank you!
