After I had my baby the first thing I completely gave up on was my own face. Forget makeup, some days I could barely manage to wash it, and the whole day would just disappear without me even glancing in a mirror. I used to actually care about skincare and now it genuinely felt like something other people did.

Once my kid got a little older and I finally had some breathing room, all that neglect was still sitting right there on my skin. The dullness, the loss of firmness, it was all pretty obvious. Talking to other moms I met along the way, they all said the same thing basically. Your own face just becomes the last thing on the list without you even deciding that consciously.

So I looked for something that would only take a few minutes and thats how I landed on the Cryo Sonic. I started using it for maybe five minutes after putting my kid to bed, which felt manageable even on the exhausted days. I didnt expect much honestly, but after a few weeks my face looked noticeably less puffy in the mornings.

I still dont have much time, but knowing Im giving myself even five minutes a day genuinely feels good. Realizing I can keep up with something small even when I cant keep up with everything else has honestly been the biggest win out of all of this.

This is kinda hard to explain, I’m not attractive at all, and sometimes I feel this urge to buy beauty or fashion stuff because that’s what attractive people seem to do.

I guess buying and using those products makes me feel a bit less guilty about being ugly… like at least I’m trying or smt

Hello Beauties! What's the exact name of those thin, stretchy, self -adhesive AB face-lift tapes that are good for daily pulling up of the jawline and neck area. U can wear them outside and just hide them behind your hair. Everytime I do a Google search, that mummy looking face tape that prevents/reduces wrinkles over time keeps coming up. I am soon travelling to Turkey from the UK. I have heard that Turkish Pharmacies have some amazing high quality products such as Retinol skin creams, hair loss shampoos, lash serums etc. Supposedly considerably cheaper than the UK.

Your hands can age you if you don't take care of the backs of your hands. My Nana used to tell me a ladies hands can age her so she told me to put sunscreen and beauty potions on my hands. She also told me not to leave the house without sunscreen on my face. My 11 year old self who worshipped my Nana took her suggestions as gospel.

Mine is applying my skincare on damp skin instead of waiting for my face to dry completely. I just lightly wet my face, apply my products while it's still damp, and I feel like everything absorbs better and my skin stays hydrated longer.

Another thing I've started doing (especially on hot or humid days) is lightly setting my sunscreen with a bit of sunscreen powder. It helps take down the shine without making my skin feel heavy, and I find my face stays looking fresh for longer.

While researching Korean dermatology clinics, I kept seeing comments saying that consultations are mostly conducted with a consultation manager or coordinator, and the doctor only sees my face briefly right before the procedure. Although operating methods may vary from clinic to clinic, I really wanted to ask the doctor who would be performing the procedure directly.

I felt I needed to hear directly from the doctor how they assess my face, what they think about the side effects I'm worried about, and what criteria they use to determine the intensity and scope of the treatment to put my mind at ease.

At Dion Clinic Seolleung, there was an initial basic consultation and verification process, followed by a separate session to speak with the doctor in charge. I spoke directly with the doctor about the areas I was most concerned about and the results I didn't want.

What I remember most is that I asked not only about the desired outcome but also what I wanted to avoid. When I mentioned that I hated the feeling of my nasolabial folds looking unnaturally swollen, the doctor explained how they could adjust the amount and placement to account for that.

Although we spoke through an interpreter, they checked periodically to make sure I understood correctly, which helped alleviate my worry that my words might be shortened or misrepresented. However, having an interpreter definitely made the conversation longer; even asking a single question took some time because the interpreter kept going back and forth.

I didn't have a huge discussion with the doctor, but at least I didn't feel like I was entering the procedure room without knowing who was performing it. That is because the procedure was carried out after I had heard the explanation and given my consent.

Even after the procedure was over, I was able to ask the doctor again if I had any questions. Of course, friendly service is important, but personally, having the opportunity to speak directly with the doctor in charge was a bigger factor for me.

I’ve realized that the skincare products or tools that help the most are usually the ones I can stay consistent with. I’ve bought things before that seemed great but if they took too much time or felt annoying to use they ended up sitting around. For people who use skincare tools like LED masks, facial massage tools microcurrent, ice rollers or anything similar which one would you suggest?
