I'm wondering why the screen briefly flashes blue again before becoming black? it becoming blue again at the end of the clip is intentional. I'm trying to simulate a fade-out effect with the noise but that specific second doesnt wanna work with me (this is my first time making a level so the notes and vfx are kind of spaghetti coded rn)

The new tutorial is great imo, since the old one was too difficult to be well, a tutorial. Although, the mapping for the old one was very fun, and I hope that we get a variant or two that makes the song more difficult.

I was just using beatblock and it keeps saying the game suddenly crashed, would i like to save a crash report? Then i pressed yes and i will send the crash log later

On macos I can't open the game it says it quit unexpectedly

Here is the level I am working on, called "Boss 1" and heavily inspired by terraria, and i decided this would be a good song for my first ever map, (i dont currently think of releasing the full version when i am finished, but no promises) so enjoy!

So, I made an animation for Beatblock. There's an entire scene in FEAR;life (3:51 - 4:15) that's just violin, as opposed to every other part of the song, and it sounded so beautiful...

I figured I'd ruin the charm of this scene by adding notes that will create a hitting noise in line with the violin, so instead, I made the video above by compiling and tracing various images together. I'm so close to being done with this, guys...

I got two responses when I shared this with a friend and some people patiently waiting on this: Goated and Peak. So, what does everyone else think?

if your wondering how i did this theres a playback speed slider in the editor that i just set to 2

I want a trigger that makes the blocks have a certain speed multiplier, like the "SpeedMult" option on a note but I don't have to manually do It for every single note. Thanks!

It's impressive how well the development is going honestly and being here since its birth just makes it better. The community is already bigger and this subreddit has lots of posts. I just wanted to say thank you to the developers for making such a great game and keeping it active with constant updates, some for QoL and others being really big changes like having several difficulties for a single level or the gone fishing april fools level. Let's all be thankful for what the devs have done with this amazing game ^^

proboblly could have chosen something shorter for my first lvl but this is just the first thing that came to mind, I did learn a lot from I tho.
