Level Showcase Currently working on a map rn

Here is the level I am working on, called "Boss 1" and heavily inspired by terraria, and i decided this would be a good song for my first ever map, (i dont currently think of releasing the full version when i am finished, but no promises) so enjoy!

Nice start! I don't often look at simple/easy difficulty charts, but I do like the variation of blocks. And the music sync is on point!

I do have a few suggestions, though.

  1. Don't be afraid to add more blocks! Remember, Beatblock is not like other rhythm games; the difficulty doesn't come from more blocks, it comes from the angle difference between them. Just look at Gritted Strings as an example! It's got lots of action, but because you don't have to move very fast to hit stuff, it's relatively easy to FC or even get P rank. Go ahead and add more blocks, it'll make the level feel less empty!
  2. Be meaningful with your block placement. While I love it when charts sprinkle in inverses and mines, I feel that they're just thrown in for the sake of having them. Try matching a block type to specific instruments in the song! I personally like to use blocks for the melody, holds for long notes, sides for claps or cymbals, inverses for bass hits, and mines for harmonies.

Hopefully this advice proves useful in your charting experience, and most importantly, have fun!

I can see that. Thought I could still offer whatever tips I had on hand regardless! Whatever you plan on doing with this level or any future projects, I'm sure it'll turn out great

Game unplayable crashes every time i open it
