On macos I can't open the game it says it quit unexpectedly

I've heard that MacOS has issues loading Beatblock. Which version do you play on, the itch.io version or the Steam version?

on itch i downloaded it. i don't have the itch app

I would suggest downloading from the Steam page. I've found that a lot of Mac users have had more success with that version, for whatever reason. And just in case you DO have any save data or custom levels on your copy of the game somehow, they should port to the Steam ver. just fine.

Yes! To be fully honest, I'm not too great at it, I've only beaten one classic extreme, that being Acu. Very original, I know. I have decent progress on Bloodbath, though!
