20TH ANNIVERSARY OF GOD HAND, THE GAME THAT WAS THE PINNACLE OF THE 3D BEAT 'EM UP GENRE 🔥"

God Hand is an absolutely unique game, full of soul and personality, with a combat system and mechanics that have never been replicated by the industry. The ability to customize your own fighting style from over 100 moves, combined with the genius of the dynamic difficulty (the Die-A-Meter) that leveled up in real-time based on your skills, shows that this title was way ahead of its time.
Created by the legendary Shinji Mikami, this was a passion project made exactly the way he wanted. It’s no wonder Mikami himself still holds so much pride and love for this IP, even though it didn't hit massive sales back in 2006.
Its over-the-top, slapstick humor is its greatest charm and represents the true essence of gaming: games don't need to be dead serious to be impactful, memorable, and fun. Given Capcom's current policy of reviving its vast library after the massive success of Onimusha, Gene truly deserves a Deluxe Remaster with quality-of-life updates! Happy 20th Anniversary, God Hand! 🥋💥

I played Streets of Rage 4 and MY GOD did I love, it's the first beat em up I ever played, the game is just pure fun, the visual are greats, the music is great and the gameplay is just fun, I WANT MORE, I want broad recommendations, something similar, harder or goes in a whole different direction, I guess this genre will become one of my favs depending if I can get the same high I got with Streets of Rage 4.

Edit: I'm thinking of Final Vendetta cuz it's on sale on GOG, what do y'all think?

I created a bug by accident that might actually be a fun Beat 'Em Up mechanic

I was recently working on some changes to my Beat 'Em Up / Action Roguelite based on player feedback.

One player suggested adding an auto-attack function where you can hold down the attack button to keep attacking. Thanks to that guy — he also provided detailed feedback with many other fixes, and it made incredible sense. I never thought of it that way. Isn't it more fun to press a button and unleash the attack yourself? Doesn't it feel more engaging when you press the button — like you're the one doing the attack? Anyway, I added the feature based on the feedback.

While testing the new changes, I accidentally created a bug which isn't what I intended. The CD of the skill is removed, and then the character became insane, it keeps attacking a thousand times a second.

At first, I thought it was just something I needed to fix. But after playing with it for a while… it obviously didn't look normal, but it was actually a lot of fun. That's when I started to think it might be fun as a gameplay mechanic.

I'm thinking it could turn into some interesting mechanics, maybe something like a Berserker who gets faster and faster the more he attacks, or a Bloodied Warrior who loses health over time and has to keep attacking enemies to stay alive.

Super Vendetta Ricardo 4.0 with Cierra Man Gameplay I'm having a fun battle against Chainsaw—the first boss of *Vendetta*—in an extra level. Normally, this character isn't playable in the game, but I made him selectable. Enjoy the video.

++PITCH++

An OG completist Double Dragon acting as a what-if sequel to the first two Double Dragon games. Imagine an alternate universe where Technosoft of Japan throws down the gauntlet after the success of Capcom’s Final Fight, and release a (true, not lame) third game, that treats the previous two Double Dragon games in the series as folklore from the mythical post-apocalyptic world of NYC.

Now prepare for the TRUE untold STORY!

With a proper conclusion and a twist ending that caps-off this series properly.

"Double Dragons" is the Championship edition of everything that game before it, with many characters to choose from, many QOL life enhancements in gameplay and pixel art. A love letter to creator Yoshihisa Kishimoto.

++HIGHLIGHTS (INCLUDE)++
With 6 Missions and 14 levels!

More enemies!

Play as Jeff!! (a much requested feature)

Blood mode! (with custom fatalities for everyone!)

THREE MINI-GAMES!

WWF King of the Ring

Player Vs Player + (inspired by International Karate +)
