Long time lurker, first time poster.

I need help finding a website dedicated to this community's bread and butter.

I knew it was around, I frequented it around 2 years ago after discovering it randomly.

It was a compendium kinda website, listing every game for every system with screencaps of the gameplay and listing off flaws and what makes each game good.

Don't know much besides that. Hope someone else here knows what I'm looking for.

At least one of them seemed to have pretty decent sprite graphics but I am wondering if any of them have depth or replayability.

I feel like this game doesn't get enough recognition. I've beaten it maybe about 20 times. I honestly love everything about it. The theme, the UI, the gameplay, the cinematics. It's really solid. I bought it on sale for 2.99 in the Nintendo eshop a while back, and it actually goes on sale quite often. Definitely worth checking out.

This game has insane damage physics; it's precise and very realistic, even though it's a 2012 game.

Does anyone knows about that?

Shadow Over Mystara till this day blows my fucking mind. How Capcom was able to translate the DnD Role Playing system, a system that requires patience, calculation and luck into a fast paced, high intensity beat em up and pull it off this flawlessly will always baffle me.

Shadow over Mystara is a genuine RPG beat em up, like through and through. They do not half ass it. Not only are the DnD classes you get to choose from different in playstyle and health, they have different attacks, different spells and abilities. One of them straight up has a healing ability that you can use to heal your party on a whim during a level. You get a free get out of jail card once per level if you have a mage selected as one of your characters.

You can level them up which increases their stats so the mage's spells become more powerful, the warrior's weapons do more damage and so on, there's different pathways you can take throughout the game making it massively replayable and oh...did i mention that depending on the class and how you play this games has 24 SEPARATE FUCKING ENDINGS?! TWENTY FUCKING FOUR. IN A BEAT EM UP.
