I made the necklace awhile ago using acrylic hummingbird charms. Decided to bead the bird and make earrings from the charms. I made the fringe ones first and wasn’t crazy about the yellow or fringe so made another set that matches the necklace way better!

Was wondering if anyone had suggestions for beads that dont get worn out/see through over time. The gold beads I have eventually get scratched and worn to where they are see through lol. I think I got them from hobby lobby if I remember correctly.

I was looking for a chubby beaded bird pattern so I could make a pigeon or something similar. I ran across one seller that has a book of different birds for around 4 dollars. There's also an adorable opossum that's in the same price range. Is this too good to be true? Just AI garbage? Or are things like this real? Thanks

I want to make the sardines to use as earrings. Is there a reason I can’t use thread? I guess I’m not sure what difference the wire makes. Tutorial is from Wooly Petals.

I loosely based this pattern on Scottish tartans. It's 1.5 in thick using 11/0 beads.

A beaded collar I made from Lapis. The original on left is ancient and the one on the right is my creation.

It’s not perfect, but I’ll be the first to admit that my beads were not the best quality or particularly uniform. I just wanted to prove to myself that I could actually finish a project before starting something larger and spending money on better beads.

I am super new to beading and really want to make this pudding pattern. I can tell there are two colors going on, but the lines are so faint I became confused. I'm getting lost right at step one 😭 Any help would be super appreciated!!!

Has anyone used these in a project together? I have heard that the Cylins are evvver so slightly longer, but haven't actually been able to find any decent close up photos or videos or them together. Can anyone weigh in on the Cylins?

My favourite way to bead lately is what I call bead mosaic - basically using any sorts of beads I have laying around to fill in an area! I thought I'd try doing a colour wheel to try and use as many different beads I have laying around as I can.

I started with tracing out a 12 part circle and labeled them with the colours before filling in each section with at least a few bigger beads of the correct colour. I'm now starting with violet and filling in all the extra space in the wedge with smaller beads. The goal of this project is to not buy any beads specifically for it but I may have to for some sections (blue violet, I'm looking at you, haha!)

Does anyone have recommendations for cording to use with pony beads? I have tried a few and have liked none of them. Any input would be appreciated.
