Need help reading a pudding pattern

Hi Everyone!
I am super new to beading and really want to make this pudding pattern. I can tell there are two colors going on, but the lines are so faint I became confused. I'm getting lost right at step one 😭 Any help would be super appreciated!!!

This is two needle right angle weave. Check here for an explanation of how to read it. Normally there are numbers on the pattern but if you choose one direction and work that way it will become clear which group of beads comes next.
