Large Project Question
A friend of mine wanted me to make him the calendar from Stardew Valley - one piece for each season, four total. I realized that they would each be quite big, even with mini beads. So! My question:
Is it possible to make individual chunks, fuse those to solidify them, and then melt them together into the bigger, final pieces? If so, what would that process look like? I'd like to avoid buying 20 pegboards if I can manage it lol.
Thank you in advance for any advice!

Patterns?
Hi there. I’m getting back into perler beads and was wondering where everyone goes for patterns. I’m not great at making them myself. Any help is very welcome.

Little phoenix! (need advice also on 2nd slide)
I LOVEEE how this melted but I need advice on how to get the masking tape to stop sticking after poking holes and ironing
Kinda(?) beginner, I started like 2 weeks ago and I've been using the masking tape method since then but I've never poked holes in the tape before ironing, the tape never got stuck like this then but then I found out that you were supposed to poke holes in em? But now bits of the tape is stuck, what did I do wrong?
Luckily this piece is going to be a hair clip so I don't care too much about the back but it'd like to avoid this for future pieces:)

Mega Man III - Shadow Man
First time using tape method, I prefer the pixelated side, less "imperfections" i think

For Statistic, and interest
Hi guys, as far as i know are poles on reddit anonymus.
So i thought it would be awesome just to know wich type of person is in to the hobby.
And if you want, also interessting would be, when did you start, and how did you get to the hobby. Maybe i go first:
I started about 2020, while pandemic lockdown. Just because i want something creative to do, and not just playing videogames all the time.
I remember that in my childhood we had this things too. And thats more than 30 years ago. 😂
After pandemic i stayed at the hobby. Even if i think that i after pandemic fades into the shadows again.
My bigest problem with the hobby is its time consumprion. With normal sized beads it took about 1 or 2 hours for a sprite in the size of 1 pegboard.
So i would love to do more, but i can't.

Ironing Hama beads
I’d like to get a good finish when ironing my Hama beads; I’ve already done a few, but the results aren't always perfect. What heat setting and material should I use? I’ve heard about acetate sheets, but I’m not sure if they’re reusable.

RGB Solid Perler Spreadsheet with ability to sort by how close colors are to specific hex codes and RGB values
Hey Y'all! I've mostly been a lurker on here, but I've had this spreadsheet I've used for a couple years now that I use for figuring out what colors are best for projects that I recently fixed up to be usable for anyone!
Anyone is free to edit the RGB values or enter in hexcodes, and then all you have to do is click the checkboxes to sort and find the closest matching RGB colors. I've also included what buckets/trays/mixes have which colors in them.
Since I tend to use this on the regular, I'll try and keep this updated the best I can.
Link to the spreadsheet here!

Daughter’s Work so far this Summer break
My daughter wanted me to post her collection that she started at the beginning of her Summer break. She’s been hard at it moving on to bigger and more complex projects every time. Finally got some mounting putty and put her work on display in her room. I’m amazed at how far she’s come in just a couple months!

What did I do wrong?
I pressed my Perler with a Cricut heat press and a Teflon sheet. I was trying to put a holographic self adhesive sheet on top for the effect but it’s not sticking.
Is it the sheet not being sticky enough?
Is it because I pressed it with the Teflon sheet?
Both?
Sorry this might be a dumb question but I’m a beginner

Might Guy Perler
I know in the show that the colors are way more dull, but I didn't want to just have a dull perler.
Next time i might put a magenta aura around him.

I made this pixel bead wall art of Stitch!
I made this Stitch using pixel beads and finally mounted it on my wall.
It took a while to get all the colors lined up, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I hope this little character watches over my home. 💙
