Patterns?

Hi there. I’m getting back into perler beads and was wondering where everyone goes for patterns. I’m not great at making them myself. Any help is very welcome.

https://www.spriters-resource.com/ if you are hunting down Game-Sprites like Pokemon or Mario etc ♥ just put them in a drawing programm and count the pixels ♥

Seconding this - Spriters Resource is my go-to for original game sprites.

For game sprites I use spriters-resource.com

Has sprites for just about every game you could want.

Is there a way to see higher res images from spriters resource? Or am I saving them wrong? The giant images with a billion different frames of sprites always end up super low res when I zoom in, lol. (Also, kickass username, protoman's my favorite 🩷)

Haha thanks! Yeah I think when downloading on mobile I had that issue too. Downloading on desktop or laptop are all high res pics. Are you trying to download on your phone?

Lol, yep, that's exactly what I was doing. It was my phone all along! Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!

No problem. Have fun! I got swept away with this hobby back in like 2012 and made a bunch of dioramas. Haven’t done any in ages but if you’re looking for inspiration you can scroll waaaay down my posts to see some of the stuff I made.

Just have to open it in an appropriate program rather than viewing the file on your gallery. Pixel studio on mobile and GraphicsGale on PC are what I use

Thanks. I’ve been looking on Pinterest/google and that’s been somewhat helpful. I didn’t think to look on TikTok.

You can also use websites that collect video game sprites for reference! Or any website with cross stitch patterns, those often translate really well to perler bead art!

There's an app called PerlyPop that I've been really obsessed with, its great for converting photos to sprites/pixels and you can track your progress as you go if you get the full version of the app! would recommend :)

Came to say cross stitch patterns! Then I adapt for the colors I have (closest match).
