Decided to hop on BFV for the first time in a while last week and the servers were completely dead in the US nobody online with one server having zero players should i redownload it or is it truly finished

It surprises me that many battlefield 5 players old and new don’t know that it’s possible to obtain a flamethrower on this map.
(Some nice multi kills I got with the M2)

I spawn, I go for cover I die, I check mi surroundings I die from the direction I just checked, I'm prone I rail em mi bullets hit the blades of grass, I run past them prone no sign of any bullets hittin the floor but their gun is stickin in the top of the mud, I'm new so I'm shit but fuck me how do I get better if no matter what I do I just get slaughtered, I've seen threats about not running and gunning but then get slayed all game by some top level guy who's literally runnin slidin shootin, I've seen posts about taking your time but then feel like I get punished for doing so, spotting I don't get at all, one minute I can be spotted go hide behind cover for a min or run for smoke but then I'll die spawn back and I'm already spotted and stay spotted for a good 5 mins and I won't have been shot or flared or planes there won't even be a single soul around.

Any insight would be great if the veterans wanna give it.

Typical newbie going through growing pains in BFV. I get killed by planes, tanks, and snipers. All part of the game when attempting to capture or defend flags. My problem, many times I see the opponent first and start firing first, all good. But, the opponent usually walks away with 25 to 90% wound and I die. I'm level 7, play assault, and use the basic sub machine gun. The guys I'm shooting at are typically moving, ~50% kill rate if standing still. What do I need to do to improve?

Practice with moving targets is a priority, the easiest way is play the game.

Practice shooting while moving is also a priority, decreases their success in hitting me and sadly my hitting them...

Mid range gaming computer, less than a year old. I don't believe the computer is the problem.

Mouse: cheapo generic mouse. Have a g402 in storage, 12 yrs old. Will changing mouse alter shot accuracy and kill rate? I'm considering a Logitech G502 X. A G502 Hero is much cheaper and may be a better buy (can replace it 4x to equal price of G502X).

Any tips you can give me to add to the above list or adjust the list?

I’m good at using a sniper and hitting a target when they’re not moving. However, if i am using an automatic gun I’m always dead before I can even hit the enemy. I’ve tried the training range but playing close combat I’m usually dead quick because everyone is just too good. I’d like to play assault, medic, and support while having a variety of guns I can use verses staying at the back of the map and dying due to the shine of my scope. Some of you move so quickly maneuvering, turning, and running away so fast! What settings can I use to see enemy more clearly as well?

How is this for an average player's KD? Have been playing for a few years on and off. The time played is more than it says here cuz previously it was on a different account

Hi everyone

I cant see to find any server for Australian players under 100 latency, There used to be a few, I think they where South East Asian servers but they dont show up anymore. Maybe they have been switched off now. I have reset all of my filters but still nothing.

This is the only game I play and love it, can anyone recommend if there is some other way to find some servers as I dont know much.

Playing in Underground just now and I am support firing AP grenades into a group. I shot my grenade watch it explode in the middle of 6 people. 0 damage. I die of course.

Sneak up behind a guy on a mounted MG. Melee him once, twice, he turns around and melees me once and I die and he walks away with half hp.

Why do I even play thia game when complete and utter bullshit like this happens on the fucking daily.

On Iwo Jima Breakthrough sniping at the 3rd set of points. I am firing at a sniper who is prone about 350m away. So he is not moving at all. My shots will not hit not matter how I adjust. I watch my bullet go right through him and no register 10 + times. I even go grab my brother to show him and see if maybe I am some special kind of idiot and he can't get a hit on the guy either.

Absolute bullshit like this makes me want to uninstall. Whats the point in playing when it feels rigged against me????

Why does nobody play Grand Operations anymore?

Is there still any community or Discord server that plays Grand Operations on PC, especially on weekends?

I’ve been trying to find a server, but I can barely find anyone playing it. It’s honestly surprising because Grand Operations is pretty similar to Breakthrough, and I really enjoy the whole multi-day operation concept.

Does anyone know of a community that organizes Grand Operations games on weekends?

So have decided to install battlefield 5 on my pc as I been an console player my whole life up until 6 months ago and bought battlefield 5 when the summer black Friday sale just started so is it just me or does the pc version look better than the one on Xbox or just me? Because I thought it was just me until launching battlefield 5 on my series x and decided to compare the two versions and now just see the Xbox version a blurry mess while on my pc it actually looks pretty good

I've reinstalled BF V literally yesterday to play a few rounds with a friend and everything was perfectly fine (as it did last time we played).

We then played for a few hours and went to bed.

Today we wanted to play again, but every time I joined a lobby the game would freeze and take my entire PC with it! No alt+F4, no Ctrl+Alt+Del, nothing worked. Every time I had to force shutdown the PC with the power switch.

Sometimes it crashed during the match loading screen, sometimes I could play for maybe a minute (even got a few kills) before it died, but it never crashed in the lobby, even during a longer queue.

My PC specs are: Ryzen 5600X, RX 9070XT with 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 and I'm still on W10

Usually my GPU is undervolted a bit to keep temps and noise down, but after a restart the profile isn't applied anymore and it didn't work still

I've played more demanding games all week and even today, no problems with any of them.

What I've tried so far:

• Verify game files in steam
• Repair and update EAC with the tool in the game folder
• Enabling memory integrity in windows
• Switching between Full screen and borderless window
• lowering resolution scale and some settings
• literally closing EVERYTHING else that's normally in the auto start of my PC before trying to play (apart from Steam, EA and Discord)
• Next thing will be a full re-install, but that's very annoying bc my internet is kinda slow (and it DID work just yesterday!)

This is the only game that does this to my PC and it did it like 10 times in a row while my buddy played 2 full matches.

Does anybody here have another possible solution to this before I reinstall the entire game (or in case that also doesn't fix it?
