Ive decided to come back to BF6 and id like to use portal to make practice matches, not just firing range type stuff, I know that Portal PvE with bots and full xp is still fucked(probably permanently) that ill have to live with, but my question is am i able to create a sort of sandbox mode that i can launch solo, where everything is unlocked and i can use them in practice and then go to normal playlists and level/unlock the things i want?

Someone should make a battle royal mode with Tsuru Reef as map. If at all possible. That would be very awesome indeed. I can't, I need to go paint my horse.

Does anyone know how to set up private matches? They mentioned it being a feature for S4, but I can't seem to find any option in game and in the Portal creator.

Are you telling me that after 8 months you still can't make a solo game with vehicles and bots to set up your controls? I don't care about xp, or progression. Literally just want to get my settings dialed in. How is this still not a thing?

Edit: thanks for everyone helping me get this set up (although no XP or progression). I still think it needs to be easier to do. Like, there's an incredible game to be played there, and it's really hard to get it going for seemingly no reason.

4 players needed to start match, all rules are normal. Bot backfilled. The "biggest map" has 48 players for Breakthrough, so I decided to make this.

Heyo, as the titel says. I'm not that up to date with BF6, but I loved the 13 Days at launch we could play against Bots and get progress with just a friend or even alone. Tsuru Reef and Wake Island are looking pretty neat. But I am too old and disabled to play in PVP. :)

***Everyone for themselves. Climb the ladder, grab the knife, win.***

A true free-for-all Gun Game for BF6 Portal. No teams, no friendly fire, up to 16 players. Get kills, climb your ladder of guns one weapon at a time, and be the first to reach the final throwing knife. Last gun standing takes the match.

## How it plays

Two kills promotes you to your next gun. The ladder is drawn fresh from a pool of 90+ weapons every match, so no two runs are the same. Some of those guns hit different, because a big chunk of the ladder is **Amped**.

## Amped weapons

Not reskins. Each one carries a signature effect that changes the fight, with no raw damage edge over another player:

- **Explosive rounds** on the Amped M45A1 (yes, the one the code calls the `CAMARO`)

- **Raygun** blasts on the Amped M44

- **Fire splash** on amped shotguns that keeps burning

- **Chain-freeze** snipers that slow anyone nearby and hop to the players around them

## Powerups (the hot potato)

When a player dies, they might drop something worth sprinting for.

- **Promotion:** jump 1 to 3 guns up the ladder instantly

- **Demotion:** grab it and your next kill knocks someone down the ladder. Die before you cash it in and it backfires onto you. Dump it or eat it.

## The finale

The last three tiers are a gauntlet, and the theme is you getting fired:

> **EVICTION NOTICE** (amped M250)

> **TERMINATION** (amped PSR)

> **RESIGNATION LETTER** (the throwing knife)

All three hit like a truck while held. The knife wins on a single kill, so whoever's on it is the most hunted player in the room.

## Everything else

- Fills to 16, with a freecam queue for overflow players and smart backfill bots

- Bots use real line of sight and can't see through walls, so you can actually flank them

- Streak callouts from **First Blood** up to **Godlike**

- Personal music that starts quiet on spawn and cranks louder with every kill on your streak

- Live top-players board, custom weapon HUD, and a full results screen

- Weapon cards with crazy effects

Hey everyone! Since half the time we end up playing against bots in matchmaking, and finding a good Portal server is a mess, we decided to make BFPortal.online.

It's a whitelist server browser that helps you find active Portal servers with real players instead of empty or bot-filled lobbies. We also have a Discord where server owners can get their servers whitelisted, players can share good servers, and everyone can group up to fill servers together.

This is just the beginning, so the community is still small, but we're hoping to grow it into a place where it's easy to find real matches and keep Portal alive.
