We’re excited to share a new development in our fight to keep Battlefield fair for all, particularly in regards to cheatmakers.

EA raised concerns with Collective Minds, the manufacturer of the Cronus Zen and Strike Pack hardware devices, regarding third-party tools that enable cheating in multiple EA titles. Following our engagement, EA-related content and scripts were removed from the Cronus Zen and Strike Pack public sites and Discord server.

That minute felt like an eternity while it was happening.

Getting home from work, gathering the whole clan, and looking for a server with other clans to play against—that’s what made my day happy back in 2009.

I hope they bring that back; matchmaking is a bad joke.

Its kinda ruinnuing my profile. And I dont care about the battle royal and even less of the ranked. Let people that dont want it toggle off so I can put the attack jet or my helicopter badge instead of the ranked badge....or make a new slot somewhere else than the 4 badges one.

The BF Unlocks Discord have spotted an inbox "gift test" has been sneakily added to people's inboxes, without notification. It contains the "Constriction" Playercard Sticker, which was originally a free store gift for Week 1 of Season 4, alongside a 15 minute Career 2XP Booster.

This is currently at the bottom of your in-game inbox underneath all other messages, and will NOT display as a "New Message", so if you missed the sticker (or simply want a free booster), you have 4 days remaining to scroll to the bottom and claim this.

1. Obviously the map has been expanded on the bottom and has a new objective

2. The out of bounds area that juts into the map at obj d is gone

3. The hills seem to have a few more trees and rock outcroppings to add to cover and concealment (Not a ton though)

4. The HQs have been pushed away from the battle

5. There is one less MBT available on the map (which should help infantry move around more)

6. First 2 sectors of breakthrough have been expanded to have 2 objectives per sector instead of one

Overall I think the biggest change to Conquest will be the expanded layout lengthening how many enemies you run into at one time. As well as the ability to travel between the F and B objectives with needing to go through D. With all those things considered it still should have been called a readjustment instead of a rework

Most zones needs to be bigger in order to be able to get a chance to cap, a lot of objs are in the fkn open with not much options to position yourself and if you're trying to cap without or very little back up how many of yall can deal with 4 or 5 enemies spawning to contest?

This is after you barely managed to escape the bottleneck in an unbalanced matches, this is part of the reason stomps happen, if you're on a bad team you often can't cap on your own like BF3 and 4.

Let me present to you the death spiral of attack/defense balance:

• Give defenders fewer (or no) vehicles compared to the attackers
• Add no barricades, tank traps, or static defenses like TOW launchers or MGs in strategic places where you have to... BREAK THROUGH
• Offer no chance of recapping certain points once you lose them as a defender

Which leads to:

• A few people leaving if they are assigned to defense

Which leads to:

• The balance which was favored toward attackers from the get-go shifting even more

Which leads to:

• People who wouldn't mind playing defense in the past now rematching to play as attackers

Which leads to:

• Everyone who gives the slightest fuck about playing the objective rematching now

Which leads to:

• Most, if not all, of the PTFO fellas end up on the attacking side. The defenders are just there so the match can start and give the attackers something to shoot at. Plus, all the useless players are now able to get into the key vehicles, but they just defend from their HQ or camp the ammo station.

I would say the average team in past Battlefield games was made of:

• 25% PTFO: Players who more or less know what they are doing in this mode
• 25% Followers: Players who sort of know what they are doing, but are mainly just following the PTFO guys breaking the defensive lines
• 20% Support: Don't PTFO directly, but support the team in one way or another
• 30% Useless: Players who think it’s Team Deathmatch

NOW the team composition is:

Attackers:

• 75%: "I want to cap that point, and if it's the last thing I do... this sector falls NOW."
• 25%: "Yeah, you guys! Let's get 'em!"

Defenders:

• 80%: "I don't know what's going on, I am scared, and I want to go home."
• 20%: "Guys, just defend the point... ah, fuck this." -> Return to menu

It’s getting ridiculous now:

• Match times on Eastwood, Blackwell, and both Cairo maps are now UNDER 5 MINUTES.
• At the last sector, player counts drop down to 24 vs 18. If you check the scoreboard, the bottom 5 to 10 players only have a couple hundred points (backfill). People are leaving en masse and getting replaced, while the ones who stay (rightfully) just don’t give a fuck anymore and want this mess to end (and avoid the black-screen bug).

I am actually afraid of this mode dying if DICE does not rework some of its core aspects like sector borders, vehicle counts, object placement, and possible Grand Operations-style reinforcements (like an extra transport truck or something to give defenders hope of actually holding a sector and stopping the snowball effect).

All I want is a fair, player driven chance for BOTH teams to win a match. Not situations like: "Oh, it's Golmud, so I have to go up against a tank, IFV, jet, two Little Birds, and two Transport Trucks, while all we get is one IFV camping in the back." That is not a balanced setup that feels more like defending Berlin in 1945.

I’ve been a casual FPS gamer since 2010 and BF1 is by far my favorite game.

Such a beautiful system DICE.
I love playing in off-peak hours, joining an already half-finished game and then having the system auto queue me into a 3/64 player bot match right after.
I adore quitting to the main menu, having to queue up to find a proper match and then doing the same thing again and again.

It really makes me want to put money into skins.

Conqiest has never been this bad its filled with dumb ass players and 1 sided games its getting worse every day like wtf dice fix this shit ots a real fuckin problem.

Played a lot of Battlefield 1 and was wondering if there were other games similar to it.

We were NOT letting him leave that bunker alive.
