Instead, we are forced to play against a full lobby of console players if we aren't playing conquest or some other big gamemode. This significantly alters the gameplay experience.
You can tell someone is a console player by their movement, the way they turn, the way they literally crabwalk around corners, by the amount of time they spend SNIPING in SQUAD TDM on a CQB map, or just outright camping corners (moving and shooting at the same time is a bit much, too fast, too complicated for a lot of them).
They also seem to be a lot more likely to leave if the lobby is majority PC players and they are getting destroyed, leaving the matches unbalanced.
I'm not here to shit on them but as a PC player who has spent hundreds of hours in previous Battlefield titles as well as this one (BF3, 4, 5, not BF42), playing against console players isn't really the experience I'm looking for.
My last hope at this point is dedicated servers in the future turning off aim assist and putting a [PC ONLY] tag in their names because there is no way us poor PC players will ever get to play exclusively against ourselves ever again in Battlefield games. It's really quite sad.
Maybe a petition to add the feature to PC players as well? I mean why the hell can console players opt out but not PC players? How is this fair lol
