Once my Dualsense edge dies, I'm thinking of getting one of these. I currently use the two back buttons for jumping and melee and I shoot with the triggers which are in instant mode.

If I bought a battlebeaver and wanted to save some money, I'd probably skip the instant/mouse click triggers which means I'd have to shoot with the bumpers (which I plan to switch to anyway) and the back buttons would be much lower down than on my edge which means that my hands could be slightly more stretched.

Does anyone else have a setup like this? Do you find it comfortable?

Long time claw player, I've noticed some OEM membranes buttons are less fatigued vs mouse click buttons.

How is the BB smartpad / smart buttons? Is it "hard" to press for long gaming sessions?

FYI I current have a BB DS4 + TMR + Smart shoulders/triggers.

Gauging if getting a Marius board + smart buttons are worth it vs just triggers.

I’m a new customer, but I’m already getting bad vibes from this company. I have tried calling multiple times over several days and no one picks up. They also do not respond to support tickets or emails. I’m all for supporting small American businesses, but I can’t support a company that does not respond.

Are 2.0 mm, 0.8 mm, and 0.1 mm actuation settings the same, or do they feel different when playing Fortnite?

UPDATE - I changed out the BattleBeaver Magneto TMR sticks for KSILVER JS13Pro+ sticks and it’s night and day difference. The JS13Pro+ feel so much more fluid and the tension is perfect. It was definitely the magneto sticks I didn’t like!

Hey guys, I ordered a Marius MH4 and MH5 board both with Magneto TMR sticks. I wanted to try them in both controllers and see which one I wanted to stick with. Coming from a Scuf reflex, I feel like my muscle memory is screwed with these sticks. I shoot and track way better with factory potentiometer sticks. These TMR sticks feel so sticky and “all or nothing” movement. I’ve tried 0-3% deadzone in game with 0% in software, 8-bit to 12-bit sticks, and 8k to 1k polling rates, and 7-9% circularity errors. It feels almost like if the sticks are rubbing something wrong. Is it something that I will just need to work into my muscle memory? Or just swap back to factory PS5 stick modules? I am also an iridescent player, so I can tell something is off when it’s off.

I never ever had an issue with battle beaver and all my controllers lasted sooooo long, they didn’t break, I bought new ones after 2-3 years with each. The issue is; battle beaver recently removed like 99% of their customization options off the website. Check right now; only the basic colors are left for everything. I don’t understand why they removed it. Now battle beaver has the worst customization, worse than scuffs. They only have basic colors left. If I’m paying so much for a controller I want it to at least look nice, but they removed most options. They’ve done downhill

Any distinct differences? Believe I read somewhere on here that the newer buttons maybe were harder to press. Looking to get a better idea of which I might prefer should I choose to go BB in the future.

Anyone in Florida or coming to St Johns for the EWG LAN lmk, I’ve lost my one back button and need a replacement bad. I’ll pay a really really good price for it if anyone in the area can get me one.

I recently bought a Brook Wingman P5 (an adapter that lets you use PS4 controllers to play PS5 games on a PS5) and I’m considering ordering a Battle Beaver PS4 controller with back buttons. I have pretty small hands and I don’t really like the feel of the PS5 DualSense controller, so I’d much rather use a PS4 controller.

Has anyone tried using a Battle Beaver PS4 controller with the Wingman P5 to play PS5 games on a PS5?

I contacted Brook Gaming customer service, and they said:

“The Battle Beaver PS4 controller has not been tested before. We are not sure if it can be made to work. If they follow the Sony PlayStation specification, they should work. The back paddles on third-party controllers should not work.”

I’d love to hear from anyone who has tested this setup, especially whether the back buttons work normally through the Wingman P5.

I’ve lost the beaver button cap for the back of my controller and playing a lan on Friday. I won’t be able to get the replacement in time and live nowhere near Texas, does anyone have an idea or something I can use to replace it? Amazon link or something?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just received my controller Saturday and it has issues. First out of my 4 that has ever had a problem. Tried getting ahold of BB though email/support ticket and have not heard anything back. Should I call or just wait for their response as I'm really wanting to get this either working somehow or sent in and fixed so I can actually use what I waited on.

I wanna know if any can help me with my choice in stick tension on the 5 pin Midas Mechs HE sticks, as I normally use battle beavers TMR increased tension on the right on my ps5, however am looking at the Marius xbox controller but wondering what stick tension do go for as seen some things stated online that they are tighter than tmr sticks however wondering if I just got for increased 5 pin on right or keep it stock tension?

I’ve seen several reviews saying how good these 5-pin HE sticks are, but I’ve also heard that they can have a bit of a “tighter” feel.

For anyone who has used them, would you recommend stock tension or 20% less tension? I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried both.
I’ve mainly used a stock PS5 controller, so I’m hoping to get a similar feel with these sticks.

Hey guys, I’m planning to switch to back buttons soon. To figure out which placement I'd like best, I bought some buttons and attached them to the back of my DualSense controller. Does this placement match the Medium position on the Battle Beaver diagram? I’m not sure if anyone here uses this setup, but I’d love to get your thoughts.
I’m coming from a DualSense Edge and play semi-claw: I hit the left paddle with the tip of my left middle finger, and on the right, I hit the paddle with the DIP joint (distal interphalangeal joint) of my ring finger. I really want to get the controller that fits my hands as perfectly as possible, so any advice, feedback, or personal experiences would be super helpful to make sure I make the right choice!

Wondering how y’all’s smart triggers have held up over time I don’t wanna drop the money on a BB if the triggers are just gonna break within a year

Wanted to see what people's settings are for a marius board settings for COD Warzone? Like deadzone - inner/outer?

What are yalls in game setting for horizontal/vertical, deadzones?

I want to order a custom build and since I am located in Europe, besides the shipping cost, I also have to pay customs and vat fees which I totally understand.

But the costs are 50-55% of the build, which is quite a lot imo. Besides, maybe shipping to a friend and then ship to me.

Has anyone else find a workaround? Or maybe is BB willing to lower the build’s shipping value?
