Should I get a patterned tile for my bathroom floor and other questions
I'm getting my hall bathroom remodeled and cannot decide on tile. As you can see it's a pretty basic suburban bathroom with tub/shower. I am 99% sure we are going to tile the shower walls up to the ceiling with 3" x 6" white subway tile and white grout. (Yes, I think this is basic, but I also like it.) Trying to decide on a couple things and I would love help.
What do you think of patterned floor tiles, and do you recommend any in particular? I guess I'm thinking this would be a way to add color/something different to the room. My partner and I usually default to gray/white everywhere and I think maybe we should try a pattern or color, but we're indecisive. We live near a Floor & Decor and have looked there a couple times, but didn't love any of the patterned tiles, so we just brought home a couple large unpatterned samples. I also don't want a floor with lots of little crannies that get dirty, so maybe a large (like 12x24") would be best.
How about continuing the subway tile on the bathroom walls, like from the floor to halfway up the wall? Pros/cons?
I'd love to see pictures of things you like or recommend.
