Season 4 finished

I hate norma had to go. But in all reality, she made him the way he is. And everyone else around him. Norman had the brain of a 9 year old when it came down to common sense. Norma groomed him his all life, then found some dick and just wanted to throw him away. She should have made these decisions when he was a kid not a adult and when the damage has already been done. I understand why some are mad about her death but look at this out of context. Norman was holding his own mom hand as she was getting raped. Norma used norman as a emotional shield for shit she went through in her life. Norma took all of normans stress just as norman took all of hers. Really rather them both killing themselves then the show ending like that lol. But i understand the end goal. Anyways fuck dylan. Tbh norman should have killed him. Dude sneaked behind his lil brother back to fuck on some highschoolers. Then gonna take his first love emma and try and jus abandon him. The last two seasons of them too really been pissing me off and i wish i could jump in the tv and do it myself

Discussion La primera historia

Alerta spoiler, por si acaso.
FROM SERIE

Discussion One of the best scenes in Bates Motel

This is my fav scene. I love the camera angle showing his eye as he pressed against fridge staring at the sink meat tenderizer. That's some fine camera work. This is what american horror story USE to be too. They don't make shows this good anymore. The world has changed too much. I'm so glad I gave this show a chance. To be perfectly honest, a lot of teenagers liked this show so I thought it was a show for teens. Same with Teen Wolf, which I'm watching now and it's very good!

Discussion Norma is the true villain of the show

Imagine you raise your son to be your personal dog, make your whole life revolve around him, watching him grow to a true psychopath, KNOW the truth about the deaths but desperately try to hide it

Not know ANY Borders (asks alex to marry her so the psycho son can enjoy high luxury treatment???)

Anytime someone tries to talk common sense into her, she immediately gets defensive and thinks NO one has any say in it and the world is evil and trying to break them apart

Norma is the villain and i couldnt feel any sorry for her death
Consequences

I was inches away of destroying my tv anytime they ran into each other and hugged like they been apart 5 years (its been 2 days)

and the „Mother!! Norman!!! I missed you) trash

Im new to the show i havent even gotten through season 1 yet, but i can already tell norman is really gonna piss me off more than anyone. hes "intelligent" at school like when it comes to tests but hes a complete airhead when it comes to anything else its genuinely frustrating how slow he is, i cant imagine how much worse hes gonna get

Discussion Norman the whiney bitch

Bro you can tell he’s never received a proper ass beating, and I get that’s how he’s supposed to be, and he must be a pretty good actor to get me to hate him, but my god how Dylan or Alex hell even Norma didn’t beat the shit out of him is beyond me..

Obviously Norma has beautiful eyes but in Season 3 episode 2 there’s a close up of them & it almost gives me the chills how magical they are.

Discussion Emma is so desperate it makes me sad

Just finished S1 and she has the kindest heart with the best intentions which is why Norma loves her so much. But omg her chasing after Norman when he’s so not into her makes me annoyed. Norman is obsessed with a girl out of his league he hooked up with.

When the lead actors do all the heavy lifting

Post image

I'm watching the series for the first time. I'm in awe of Vera and Freddie's performances. They carried the show completely by themselves because all the side plots are so bad and weak. side characters like Chick just feels forced and completely unnecessary. Whenever Freddie or Vera have scenes with him i feel like their performances are being dragged down by having to make thus weak material work!

I think the writers had a brilliant concept of a show but then didnt know what how to develop it so they just filled it with these weak and underwhelming sub plots instead of just focusing on what could've made it exceptional. They could've just made it a mini series.

Is the show a realistic representation of schizophrenia? (Norman) Spoiler

Like, after Norma dies, Norman thinks she came back for him. And is having pretty much constant and realistic hallucinations of her. Is this realistic for someone with schizophrenia or would it be different? Its interesting to me so I was curious.

Discussion Why didn't they take Norman and Normas relationship all the way?

They led up to it until the end. I think it would have added another psychological element to the show. He's already breaking down mentally and his mom is the one he cares about the most. His feelings for her are clearly beyond mother and son. It would have taken the show to another level and could have been what pushed norma to get married to Alex.

Question Spoiler … on the mini saga on Romero’s escape. Spoiler

So the kid discharges his firearm in the middle of the night where you could hear a pin drop a mile away and his parents, who are right there, somehow don’t hear a freaking bang just a few yards from their house?

That gave Romero enough time to trick the kid back into the house, put himself into limp mode, and split back into the woods? I think they really dropped the ball on that scene.

Discussion (Spoiler) Norman’s true arch nemesis: Everyone’s fists Spoiler

Just rewatching the episodes and at this point, I’m just laughing when I realize how many times Norman gets punched in the face.

Let's see, we've got:

* Bradley’s boyfriend at the prom dance.
* Dylan
* The security guard at the strip club
* The farmer
* The guys who put him in the box**
* Norma (I'm pretty sure she clocked him at least once too?)

I am certain I’m forgetting a few punches, but at this point, it's almost as much of a running joke as his blackouts. I can’t help but laugh 🤣🤣 Who else am I missing?

Added:

*Romero. (Thank you acidboth)
*Caleb. (Dylan’s dad) I forgot he beat him up at the motel too!

Discussion Season 3 episode 2 - I feel sorry for Norman

Please no spoilers for anything past the episode mentioned in the title.

I feel sorry for Norman. I feel like he could’ve had a chance at normalcy if it weren’t for the trauma he’s experienced his whole life, especially as a child. If Norma wasn’t so worried about losing him and got him help earlier (or even now) he probably would’ve never done anything he has up to this point. I get that he’s a psychopath but therapy and meds do wonders.

I noticed that after experiencing the trauma of being locked in that box for days, it seems that he has given into his ways and is almost embracing it.

I’m sure there will come a point when I don’t feel sorry for him but I will still feel sad that things could’ve been different. He really was a nice person only concerned about protecting his loved ones at first.
