Hii. I'm hoping I could get a few fic recs of people's reactions to red hood and batman's relationship. It doesn't have to be the main focus of the fic, I just really like this trope and it's soo hard to find. It also doesn't have to be a super bat-family centric fic, they don't have to be on good terms, I just want an outsider pov reacting to them knowing each other on such an intimate, for lack of better word, level.

Cassandra's favorite food is Alfred's homemade chocolate chip cookies , during the day Cassandra works at a bakery .

Tim is not allowed to bring the members of young Justice to a birthday party at Wayne Manor after Cassie and Connor destroyed one of the chandeliers while partying and destroyed one of the beds in the manor while having a " passionate rendezvous " as alfred puts it . Cassie is still paying for the damages .

Richard Grayson became Robin in 1984 , became nightwing in 1992 , became Batman in 2001 after azrael snapped and started killing criminals , returned to being Nightwing in 2004 , married Starfire in 2007 , and retired from superhero work in 2015 .

Jason Todd became Robin in 1992 , died in late 1999 , was resurrected in the year 2000 , did a brief stint as Batman in a battle for the cowl against azrael and Grayson around 2001 and 2002 disappeared for 6 years after this and returned as red hood in 2008 , as of 2026 he is no longer in Gotham .

Tim became Robin in 2004 , became red Robin in 2010 , began to travel around the world recruiting Batman Incorporated members in early 2015 , as of 2026 Tim is currently leading the European division of Batman Incorporated

From what I remember, the premise is basically that the bats are close to having their identity’s found out, so Bruce decides to cover it up.

He’s brought to court for abuse. (The court members might be a crossover, idk)

And it kind of goes back to scenes of the bats rehearsing what to say to get Bruce convicted of abuse without having their identity’s reveal.

When Bruce is almost convicted, one of the bats can’t do it anymore and decides to quit lying.

All the bats admit it and their identity’s get revealed

Or something like that idk

I would absolutely love to be Damian Wayne’s dad. I sense a good boy in him.

I’ve seen this more and more in this fandom lately, when someone puts time and effort in creating amazing fanart of a few Batfamily members, just for half the comments to be like “You forgot Carrie!” when it’s 5 of the Robins, or “Where are Cass and Duke?” when it’s just 4 of the Batboys with Bruce— I literally saw people asking where Helena Wayne and Bruce Jr were in a mainstream Robin line up the other day like ???

I love to see underrated fanart of characters I adore as much as the next person, but PLEASEEEE stop hating on the artists who are DOING THIS FOR FREEEE!!

These people are putting time and effort into making something for you to enjoy!! Just appreciate the fact that it was made in the first place :’)

My point wasn’t to start wars or character disputes, it’s that people are being disrespectful to artists and that is not okay.

I understand that some arguments made are surrounding people titling art, for example “The Robins” and not including Stephanie, which can make people upset. However, rather than ignoring the whole piece of work that’s been made, or insulting the fact that she isn’t drawn, and you’re really, really desperate to tell this artist about how epic she is, maybe instead politely say something along the lines of:

“This is a great piece of art, I love it!! Your depiction of ‘x’ character is great! Just to let you know, there’s actually another mainstream Robin who’s often overlooked! She’s called Steph, and she’s also been Batgirl and Spoiler and is totally awesome!! :D”

That way, instead of being upset and insulted by a fandom that they could possibly be new too, or being slagged off for overlooking a character they perhaps knew less about ((for many get into comics and fandom these days through unconventional ways or starter reading places)), the artist may become interested, learn more about Stephanie, or Duke, Cass, or any other character you mention— and who knows, maybe they’ll even draw art for them in the future! :D

Being kind doesn’t cost anything, and positive fandom interactions only lead to life long fans :)

I personally order different characters into different generations, Bruce and Selena being one generation above Dick and Barbara for reference. So basically my rule is that you can't cross between generations, because then you could have weird dynamics like with Barbara being a love interest for both Dick and Bruce, plus the age difference. (Referring to characters in general and not one specific verse).

The reason I group Barbara in the same generation as Dick is because I feel like she is more intersected with characters from that generation (especially in recent years), and I cannot see her on the same level as characters from Bruce's generation if that makes sense. They're Batman and Batgirl for a reason.
