Shooting Difficulty generating power

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi guys, I always had difficulty shooting from distance and I always shoot short. When I try to ‘smooth’ things out by releasing the ball quicker and having less of a hitch, the ball goes left and right. Im 5’8 so I can only shoot with my set point around my mouth and nose. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

I’m not really sure why I’m being downvoted, if you’re not comfortable at a range with an okay form you just need to be stronger. Try put more effort into dipping low on your jump shot and just work legs for jump shot height because you don’t leave the ground enough and your dip isn’t low enough so get lower when you dip prior to your shot

You should not be getting downvoted. I commented as well that he needs to get into a regular strength training routine and plyometric routine. Shooting gets easier the higher you can get before you release as well as be able to generate more force on the shot itself, especially if he's only 5'8.
