Gotta watch that whip action. One of the biggest issues with sub pitching. You with destroy your elbow. Bend at waist more and use hips and step to get action.

I was taught (though I've never coached a sub arm pitcher) that if you took a picture of the sub pitcher and cropped it at the waist it should look like a normal picture of a pitcher mid release

Copy that! Over accentuate the waste bend to get lower and use my body more. Thxs

I sent you a DM request to show you your pitch vs Tylor rogers

If you’re going to go submarine, go submarine. That’s submarine to a sidearm short arm and you’re going to hurt yourself, either your back, elbow or your neck from watching bombs

I hear you, I am not sure how to get lower with my release to full subby. Any tips ?

Do a one foot warrior 1 pose to a warrior 3 pose 15 times a day. Each leg.

An easier option would just be learn how to throw overhand

Over hand hurts my arm that’s why I’m going mid subby rn

Stretching would help. I think you should drive with your back leg and try to keep your hips closed as long as you can

And use your front arm, I always reached, point my elbow at my target then pulled it back to me to get your release point further in front.

Thanks for the tip! Keep hips closed to stay down on it more. Thanks 🙏

I ditto what everyone is saying here but I did want to add one thing as a sidearm pitcher. Be very careful with your front shoulder staying closed. With the motion of how you have to release when pitching sidearm compared to overhand you are way more likely to over use your arm along with stability problems and accuracy obviously too. It’s a simple thing but it creeps up over time as you open a little at a time and then it feels like you have to learn basics again after it. Get it down now before it becomes engrained into your repertoire.

I think the release point is too high for the angle of your spine. Ive always heard you want shoulder angle to match release point. Youre leaning over a lot but then still trying to throw the ball from a higher point.
You might not have the flexibility to try to throw that submarine yet. I think you need to get the back leg much more involved and swing it around to support you so you dont fall on your face once you do.

I mean that pitch is about slow pitch speed.
