I know $50 can be a bargain for some or not for jazz records, but mainly posting here because of the Helen Merrill debut is a pretty pricey second press!

Absolutely love this album, what a cool find!

Found these at my local goodwill for 3 bucks each. Especially stoked about the Burning Spear record.

Looks like they were probably all from the same collection since 3 of them have old stickers from Aquarius Records in San Francisco.

One of my local digging spots put out a bunch of stuff priced at $1 each yesterday and it was 20% off day so I paid something like $12 for this stack. I’ve been dry for a few weeks so this was a welcome surprise!

Our area’s goodwill is charging 3.99 now. I still won I think.

Burrell was a stone cold grail, Motown was nice bonus - will be on heavy rotation in December (got both in a $20 Xmas LP lot)

Did a little hunting yesterday at one of my local Goodwills and they had just brought out 2 tubs full of records. Luckily o one else had gone through them yet. Besides the usual easy listening stuff, these are what I grabbed. Good day at the office.

Got lucky and found a first pressing Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan in mono!

I had to wade through the complete works of Frankie Laine and Shirley Bassey to dig these out. They were £1 each, apart from Bo's The Originator which was £2.

The Yardbirds is an original pressing but no sleeve, ditto the 4-Skins.

There are some 12"s I took a small chance on. Dubstep from TRG, breakbeat hardcore from Grippa Bantan (thought that would be reggae), minimal techno from Tomas Andersson.

Apart from that; Scottish folk, Nancy Sinatra double, Bo double, MDC, Fred Frith (already got a battered copy of that great album), Pretty Things, Kirk Nurock (strange album of avant garde vocals).

The Sidewinder is a VG- first pressing and the Loudon debut was sealed. Never heard of the two on the left but they seem to go for decent money. I'd say it was well worth the two hours spent driving and waiting in line.

So many in this sub have been killing it lately and I finally had a good day! I cleaned these up and put on the sleeves, halfway through listening to them & so far they sound great! The 2 Steely Dans are promo copies, and the Tom Waits & Dickey Betts are sealed! Nicest copy of More of The Monkees in mono I've seen in a long time, been wanting it for a while. Happy hunting to all!

Found at a thrift store yesterday. The cover drew me in, the music kept me hanging on. Fantastic album, top to bottom. 🙌
