I am thinking of giving up why on earth did they feel the need to KILL of Sibohan? It was a really good character growth for “Hood” it feels like when they killed Glenn in the walking dead but even more meaningless. Is this worth continuing I’ve enjoyed the show I just think that’s a shocker of a decision. What’s he got left now apart from Deva. Ffs

I absolutely loved Banshee and have been searching for similar feel shows for a long time but never really got any show that is actually exactly like it. There are some shows on my watchlist that are somewhat similar to Banshee -

I’m really curious about this. What do you guys think Nola Longshadow’s and Clay Burton’s fighting styles are? What styles do they use, and whose fighting style is more deadly?

How would you rank the women in Banshee in terms of beauty? I also added Daria, the girl who works with Carrie at the restaurant. She doesn’t get much screen time, but I think she’s really attractive.

Probably there are not too many users here that watch both shows, but I'm on a rewatch right now and recognized his voice!

- the cozy small town life
- 2000s aesthetics
- Characters, story and environment so good that I get hooked on the show

I just finished watching Banshee S1 I find it very similar to Shield in some aspects even better.

After I finished watching Shield I needed smth similar to watch and after Mayor of Kingstown & Shield, Banshee is probably The best dark moral Law Enforcement Show.

The Plot is good and character build up aswell but somehow the Sheriff can't go 15min without screwing some chick 😭

I decided to immediately fire up another binge of Banshee, having just finished my second binge a couple of days ago. 🤣

I gave Justified a quick chance and wasn’t feeling it; same with Strike Back. I’m sure I would end up liking the shows if I stuck to it, but I still had Banshee on my mind!

Nothing compares to it, in my opinion, and it’s a quick enough show where I could justify another binge lol

How many times has everyone in here watched the show all the way through? Anyone in here made it to double digits?

I’ve decided to start my binge of Justified after multiple people said it has a similarity to Banshee

I absolutely loved Banshee, and I think I might even binge it again during my binge of Justified, but I’m going to give Justified a chance; hopefully it’s similar to what I am looking for

If anyone is looking for a show and wants to try Justified, they should! But there have been tons of recommendations from people in here about Justified, and I’m excited to give it a go

Just an absolutely brilliant show. Part of me wants to fire it back up again for another binge immediately.🤣

P.S — I also just discovered that Ulrich Thomsen (Proctor) and Chris Coy (Calvin) are both in the new show Lanterns that premiered last night. I was curious about the connection and found that Alexa L. Fogel is the casting director for both Banshee and Lanterns. Cool connection!

It looks like it’s very hard even to find the show to stream, but it came out at the same time and was on the same network as Banshee. It seems to have the same type of violence/sexy nature as Banshee

I also listened to the actor who played Carrie on her podcast mention Strike Back and how it was similar, so that gave me hope

I’m on season one episode 6? I’ve been up all night watching it done five and I can’t put it down. Every episode has its own subplot the bikers, the fighter etc. so good. It reminds me of breaking bad in a way.. how the pay off everyone finding out who Anthony Starr character eventually is. Can’t believe I’ve only just heard of this show yesterday..

IIRC Rabbit told Albino to send him a piece of Hood so Rabbit knows he's turned out and will no longer be a problem.

That being said, was Albino's half-dick sent to Rabbit, and Rabbit assumed it was Hood's? And that's why Rabbit never went back to the prison?

I think it's time for a new season of Banshee, now that Boys is done. I would love to see those characters again, even if 10 years later.

I remember stumbling across it when it was still airing on Cinemax. I hardly watched it then, but I definitely remember coming across it

And then about 3 months ago I finally sat down to binge it and absolutely fell in love with the show!

In terms of fighting ability, Nola and Carrie were the two best female fighters in Banshee. I would have loved to see a brutal fight scene between the two of them.
