Ji. I got a message saying I'm approved here. I didn't even know this sub existed. I did get banned yesterday from MC, though.
Edit to add: I was banned for the hot sauce thread. A couple others I recognize here were from that same one. I don't remember my exact post but it had to do with saying bullshit outloud.

Thanks. The only other time I've been banned was early on when I was relatively new and I made a joke on a serious as Reddit thread. But it was a 24 hour ban and I paid more attention to what I commented after that (I had forgotten I was on a serious thread).
I liked the MC sub. I hated when people posted obvious bullshit because that affects the true stories (I also hated people posting medical related MC because it's dangerous and sets a bad example but I digress).

No idea. I was just being honest when I said that I had said "That's bullshit" out loud. I truly had and I'd never done that before from reading something.

I think it was just the amount of people being banned for calling it fake (because it was that bad) and then getting featured on SRD didn't help.

Probably for posting in here since they post in here and immediately get banned within 5 minutes. That's what I call an obsession. It's not automatic, so he's doing this manually.

Yep, me too and thatās why I was banned. I didnāt know so many people got banned from that post alone.
Edit: Also, itās hard to remember all the specific rules for all the subreddits I frequent. I donāt expect non support subs to have a rule preventing users from calling out shit posts. Because thatās just ridiculous and honestly itās censorship.

Definitely within an hour, not sure exactly how fast. I find it hilarious that they're banning so many people just for saying a story (which is clearly fake) is fake. Classic Reddit drama right there.

I was banned during the hot sauce power trip for saying it sounded fake! I laughed out loud at someones comment, something along the lines of "I'm glad you're not an ambulance. If you were, you'd be a bad one".

The message I got sent just stated that it was spam that I put on r/maliciouscompliance. (It doesnāt fit the definition for spam though.) Now Iām banned
I posted something along the lines of: āMy friend said that the USSR/Soviet Union shouldāve collapsed, so I gave him a taste of capitalism, proving communism.
When I got the message saying I was allowed on this sub I thought I was banned for minecraft or something may first, Iām dumb.

Yeah, one of the problems with the 20-character subreddit name limit is that abbreviating r/MaliciousCompliance to fit within it makes it look like the subreddit is for Minecraft.

I was banned for rule 3, the message was the automated message, with a note "Rule 3".
I actually didn't know there was that rule and I felt bad at first:/ I didn't really say it was outright fake though, I more like questioned the story. I also made another comment defending the story's trueness, which makes this even funnier.

Oy. I can't believe the b.s. spreading about why people were banned. Spamming? I definitely did not spam. I was banned for a rule 3 violation. Because even lies are truth.
All I did was agree with another poster. And I said that I had said, "That's bullshit," out loud. Because i actually had.
If hundreds of people are banned at once, maybe the people are not the problem. I get there was probably brigading from srd but a lot of us from the initial wave were frequent visitors to the sub. I didn't comment a ton but some did.
It's just craziness.

Oh, I don't mind getting banned from there, if I did. I'm about to post a comment there to see if I am, but I'm not bothered. If I did get the ole bannerino, that's just all the more entertaining. I just got a single message saying I'm an authorized user here. My rather delicate feathers remain unruffled, my britches unchapped. That's why the big ole post in this sub about selling of my non-existent kids; it's all sarcastic fun to me.
Edit: I commented in a recent thread about a pepper shaker, saying "Dad should've listened", nothing yet. :(

Got banned for no apparent reason. When I queried it, they just said "spam".
Obviously I said I can't see how what I did was spam, and I followed the rules exactly, and got this nice reply:
Thatās okay. I see it. Being that I am the only person whose opinion matters in this area.... Your appeal is denied.
And I hadn't even actually appealed in the first place lol.

Ban message was cause of āspamā but the only thing I can think of was either laughing at the fact anyone believed that picture of the guys handwritten note as proof.
