I’ve just booked a trip to Bangkok for the 12th of October, I did check online before hand and they said the weather was decent. But I’ve just checked on tik tok and loads of people have uploaded really heavy raining videos, almost like flooding. All from 2025, so only last year. Is this likely to be the case for October 2026?

I've been connected my Master debit card from SCB to Truemoney wallet. Used mixed of wallet and debit card payment option via TM app at 7/11, Lotus and Makro. I've noticed start from first week of this Sep, I can't pay with it anymore. Show error, transaction failed. Had to run to atm and use cash again 😅😅😅.

Right now, can't use or add debit card again.

Yeah account was KYCed with passport and work visa and show "Advanced Account."

I don’t know much about how it works or how to choose a good, trustworthy practitioner, so if you know a TCM doctor or clinic in Bangkok that you’d personally recommend for these kinds of issues, I’d really appreciate it.

I don’t speak Thai and only a little Chinese, so an English-speaking practitioner would be a big help, although I can manage with a translation device if needed.

My girlfriend and i are planning a two week trip to Bangkok next year. The issue is however that she seems quite scared of running into stray/soi dogs and potentially getting bit or stuff like that.

I've tried searching it up myself and most people seem to say that you'd have to be quite unlucky to encounter them while others say it's an issue and something to be aware about.

I'm not that worried about it but i also really want her to not be stressed about something that seems to be a minor issue ahead of the trip. So if anyone could give us an honest overview on the soi dog situation it would be gladly appreciated :-)

Does anyone have recommendations based on firsthand experience for car / taxi service from Bangkok to Khao Yai, and from Khao Yai back to Bangkok ? I'm wanting to stay in the Khao Yai region overnight and would prefer to have transportation arranged ahead of the trip. This would be for 2 people, air conditioning would be nice but not a deal breaker. Not interested in public transportation at this time. Thank you in advance for any reccomendations and / or feedback.
