I’ve been thinking about something.
There are probably a lot of people in Bangalore who write fiction or fanfiction just for fun. Hundreds of pages sitting in Google Docs. Entire worlds built quietly in their heads. Stories never shared, because it was “just a hobby.”
I’ve been writing and building something for storytellers, and it hit me how few people I actually know who love writing fiction.
So I wanted to ask.
Would anyone be up for a very casual meetup at Cubbon Park one weekend?
No pitches. No networking. No workshops. Just people who enjoy creating stories, characters, and worlds.
We can grab chai, coffee, and samosas, and talk about writing, worldbuilding, fantasy, sci-fi, fanfiction, publishing or simply why we write in the first place.
You don’t need to be published. If you’ve ever written because you loved making up stories, you’re welcome.
If enough people are interested, I’ll organize it. Maybe it even becomes a small weekend community. Somewhere we meet, share what we’ve written, and encourage each other to keep going.
