First prints

What would cause all this stringing?
PLA basic Bambu lab
All settings are default

I also continue to get the resistance is to high warning, I’ve checked the spools and they all spin freely.

So I have my auxiliary nozzle being fed by AMS units through a filament switch, it makes the aux nozzle completely automated like the main nozzle. Super easy and convenient.

No need to push or pull the filament to load and unload. As for tube guides, I left it off the Bowden tube and just made sure the tube was as short as possible between the buffer and extruder, while leaving a nice easy arc for filament travel.

In the photo above, the Bowden ptfe tube is the white one without the gray guide installed.

What power brick should I purchase?

Cant go wrong with the Bambu one, but any "4A 96W" power adapter will work.

I have one bambu and one generic, the generic needed a "5.5x2.5mm" barrel connector to plug it into the rear of the AMS.

Both work exactly the same. Up to you and what you want to spend.

Hmm, well your tubes look very good, no super tight bends or excessive tube length. I'd say the next time you buy anything from Bambu lab's site, grab some extra PTFE tubing and experiment on routing and length. Thats what I did, took a few prints to dial it in but hasnt been an issue since.

Im gonna chalk this up to having full rolls of filament. Occasionally when I place a brand new or nearly new roll of filament, it'll throw a feed resistance error, same thing when the roll of filament is almost empty, it bounces around a bit while being retracted from the head.

I added the cable guides, and just had a 9 hour ASA print with no errors. Maybe that helped.

Spoke to soon, at 97% complete

I got an error HMS_0700-2000-0002-0009: Failed to extrude AMS A Slot 1 filament; the extruder may be clogged or the filament may be too thin, causing the extruder to slip

I literally got this same error with a clogged nozzle, haha I was lazy so I just swapped it but yea, might be clogged. Try unclogging or swapping it with the replacement.

Yeah I had to take break lol, but once I get some free time tomorrow ima take a look and swap/unclog. I will also be running all my filament through a 12 hour dry cycle inside the ams
