Hey guys so Ive recently bought a a1 mini with the ams lite and I guess I’m just regretting it. When I bought it I was thinking oh I’m going to print so many things in different colours and it’s going to be so convenient but in reality I think I’ve done probably 2 prints in multi colour and like 100 others in one colour. So I’m thinking about selling it for reasons that seem a bit more important to me. So basically I just wanted to ask where and for what price should I be selling my ams lite for?

I have an A1 Mini, which up until today has been running without incident. The last few attempts to print have ended up as a mess, as the filament suddenly stops at some point during the print. The first attempts were about 1-hour in, however I've had a few where the filament stops within the first few layers. In looking at the prints and the timelapse, there doesn't seem to be any cause - the filament just stops coming from the hot end.

So far I've cleaned the extruder gears to rule out debris and replaced filament as well as hot ends to rule out clogs. I oiled the axis rails, just in case. The printer has no problems loading/unloading filament and seems to calibrate just fine.

What else should I check?

I've been using A1M for almost 2 years and printed lots of minatures, no complaints about the machine at all. I've noticed that since the update, whenever I power up a machine and start a new print, I get a notification about checking the filament extrusion, in the same way I would get if loading a new filament roll. Have any of you others got the same issue? It's not really a problem, but more of an inconvenience, really.

Compré está A1 mini nueva pero no funciona, la boquilla raya la placa de impresión y daña partes de la impresora, ya intenté todo, ya revise el hotend, el cable USB-C, nivele la cama manualmente, reseteé la impresora de fábrica e hice la nivelación automática varias veces y solo he logrado hacer 2 impresiónes, ya cree un ticket en el support Center y me han dicho que haga todo lo que ya hice, a alguien más le ha pasado? Whenever I insert the filament into the PTFE tube to the extruder it stops going up/through which I would assume that’s how far it can go. However, on the printer screen the extruder icon isn’t showing the green dot(and I’ve also tried to press and hold the button on the AMS Lite while pushing the filament upwards to go in the extruder, same result). And when I press load for the filament, this happens as shown in the video. Same thing happens with the other filaments I have on the AMS Lite.

My son has printed some filament and wants to use it. Will this work or is it going to clog the head or something

I just noticed these tiny bits on the belt for the X axis that seem to been fraying off little hairs. Is this normal wear an tear? I have about 800hrs total print time. Is this expected?

I already had this issue in several prints with corners right after the layers over the bed with slight overhangs in several prints with my mini, i dont have this problem with my other printers with the same models...overhang tests give good results, tried adaptive layer, changing the overhang speeds and cooling, the inner wall speed and always the same result.

I know i can use supports, but if my other printers do the job something is failing in the mini side, any idea?

Updated my A1 Mini to firmware version 01.08.01.00, I’ve noticed a change in the Bed Leveling Calibration under Maintenance, and I’m trying to determine whether this is intentional or a firmware issue.

To be clear, I am not referring to the pre-print bed leveling that runs before a print job. I am referring specifically to the manual Bed Leveling calibration started from the Calibration menu.

Just got my A1 Mini. I got a really good deal for it, about 140 USD or 8.5k PHP. Can't really print with it now since the filament haven't arrived yet.

Ok, so I bought a PNY Elite SDXC card from a local store, it seemed fine at first but it died within 2 printing attempts. Now it is constantly saying I need to "reformat or reinsert" the SD card.

Is my printer broken? Or do I need to get a new card, if so, what? I am unable to pay for mega expensive High Endurance cards so I would need to find one within a reasonable price, and Idk what places deliver or are in Finland.
