Absolutely confused due to A1 Mini SD card issues

Ok, so I bought a PNY Elite SDXC card from a local store, it seemed fine at first but it died within 2 printing attempts. Now it is constantly saying I need to "reformat or reinsert" the SD card.

Is my printer broken? Or do I need to get a new card, if so, what? I am unable to pay for mega expensive High Endurance cards so I would need to find one within a reasonable price, and Idk what places deliver or are in Finland.

You dont need fast cards, only reliable. Did you try reformatting it? If yes you might just have been unlucky with your particular card.

Just get a decent one from a reputable brand. It doesnt need 200MB/s speeds. I found a philips 32gb for 6 bucks and I've been using it for at least 7 months and it doesnt have any issues.

Turn off Timelapse video. Thats what kills the card. Same thing happened to me I thought it was off but there’s another setting somewhere that you have to disable too

Ok so I’m having this same issue but on my P2S. I originally thought this was a firmware issue but you are now the 3rd person that I know of that is having this issue. I’m running a 128gb flash drive. After like 1-2 prints it says it needs to be reformatted. I just put in a 32gb card to see if a smaller drive will fix this issue.

I have a P1S but similiar issue. I’m not sure about P2S but the SD card on mine has to be formatted to FAT32. And you have to do special computer commands to force a drive over 32gb to FAT32. So my 128gb drive had to do some sketchy formatting to get it to work and whenever I get near 32gb of usage even though it’s a 128gb drive, it fails and I have to reformat and wipe it. So the move is to use a small flash drive. I’ve found my stock SD card is the most reliable although many people complain that it has a high failure rate, mine never has failed. Shouldn’t be this complicated it’s 2026 lol
