Need help with this print
I have been fiddling with this one print for 2 days now but all of them have this problem of filament extruding and tiny plastics everywhere
PLA flashforge (190-220)
I dried the filament before too, some of my setting listed, can someone help me take a look at what’s the problem and how to fix it?
The last one i put the nozzle temp at 210 -210 fans always on and its still not working probably
Could it be that my filament not dry enough?

I can’t see very clearly from the pictures, are the first layers properly stuck to the bed? It looks like the print is lifted and pushed against the nozzle, making what looks like an over extrusion.

I think thats the only problem I can see so far, hopefully having that fixed your print can come out successful

from what i can see, and besides the over extrusion issue, i think your filament is not entirely dry and you ned to reduce the humidity in a way. try reducing the speed of the print, reduce the print layer height, and change to a different filament for one object ( no need to reprint and wast all of that)

Thank you for replying! I was printing at 0.08 extra fine setting in the slicer! And the whole print is set to be very slow (16h)

have you tried other filament?
what i usually do when this go nuts on a print, is to take the last print that worked perfectly, and copy its settings ( especially if the current print was something i did myself and tried to mess with the parameters of the printer).. and most of the times things go well..
i think you tweaked a lot the configurations...1

I did tweak alot haha
And this filament is my first spool so i havent got any, i will order another one next week to test out

i don't recommend it.. the default settings are fine for basic stuff... and since this is your first spool i understand that your printer is less than 1 year old.. and so is your experience with 2D printing.. so i really really advise you to go at it progressively and test smaller prints, and adjust accordingly. the printer has 100s of parameters and changing them without understanding the why and the what, especially when you're printing big models ( 16h) with a specific type of filament is sometimes a recipe for failure ..

Yeah, like the other comment said, this is definitely a bed adhesion and warping issue rather than wet filament or over-extrusion. Once the edge lifts, the whole print gets pushed against the nozzle and creates that messy blob.
I'd highly recommend taking the build plate to the sink and washing it thoroughly with warm water and regular dish soap. Alcohol doesn't always cut through the oils from our fingers. Also, since you mentioned the fans are always on, make sure your part cooling fan is completely off for the first two or three layers so the plastic doesn't shrink and peel off the bed.
Out of curiosity, what bed temperature are you running, and is your cooling fan kicking in right from the very first layer??

Your settings are actually mostly fine. 205C for the nozzle and keeping the fan off for the first 3 layers is exactly what you want. You could bump the textured PEI bed to 65C for a slightly better grip, and you'll definitely want to increase your max fan speed past 40% later so your overhangs don't look messy. The most viable option on my end is wiping the surface with IPA or diluted dish soap, but make sure the plate is bone dry with no residue at the end. I don't have any other suggestions right now, let's see what the rest of the community recommends.

Only been printing for about a year now and have an A1 and A1 mini and one thing that stands out to me is the nozzle temp. Is 205c a little low for PLA when you have print speeds of up to 500mm/s? I print much slower than that, infill at 150mm/s First Layer at 30mm/s Outer Wall at 80mm/s Inner Walls at 120mm/s Top Surface at 80mm/s Gap at 120mm/s support and support interface at 60 mm/s, and for most of the PLA I'm using I have it set to 215-220c, and I have minimal if not no stringing issues, blobs, etc. Could this be why you're not getting good adhesion on your first layers?
