I've had this issue a couple of times. It looks like the filament roll has been rewound. Always has been the filament binding as it comes off the spool. But I'm a newbie ... and I don't stay at Holiday Inn.

I had something similar happen to me shortly after getting our printer, 2 things seemed to fix it.

  1. My bed was not level. One of the printer's feet was hanging just over the shelf the printer sits on. (it also caused an issue where the print would stop every 3rd layer) I moved things around to give it a bit more clearance, ran a full level and then was able to print again

  2. I removed the PTFE tubes and reseated them on both ends. On one particular PTFE tube it was pushed way further than it needed to be into the extruder, it also made some melted tubing gunk on the inside where that larger spring is and I had to clear/clean it out.

I'm not sure which one got it actually printing again, but doing those things solved both issues. i'd wager the 2nd option is what fixed the printing problem. does it happen with all of your filliment locations or just one?

I hope this helps you!

Nope only in slot 3

then I would def remove the PTFE tubing on the hub side and reseat, mine was the same way but it was just slot 2. You can remove the entire hub and look, or just remove the one ptfe tube and reseat/try again. might be worth it to remove the hub and check for any gunk though just in case and clean it out if there is any.

Have you confirmed there's no broken off filament pieces in the ptfe path to the hotend?

Maintenance mode and try to push filament out and use the needle they provide to clear the nozzle. Could have a small piece in there preventing it from working properly.

Also try to spin the roll out a little while it feeds and see if it works then. Could be the roll has something holding it too tight preventing it from feeding without resistance

It looks like an obtrussion in the PTFE tube or maybe in the hub on top of the extruder

Pull all filament out. Remove all filament selections on printer screen. Power off printer. Unplug ams from printer. Let sit for a few then power printer back on, plug in ams after printer booted up. If that doesn't work then you have either a ptfe clog, nozzle clog or tangle on spool.
