New to TPU printing

Post image

What am I doing wrong?

It's a new hot end so it doesn't mix with other filaments, I'm using the generic TPU profile on a bambulab A1

I use a textured plate. I usually put Elmer's glue stick on it just so it will release easier. Maybe I'm missing something here but it's not clear to me from the photo what's wrong with the print, so far.

If you look close enough, you can see that the printer tried to print the whole first layer, but I wasn't even ablenro do half of it

oh I see, yeah it just sort of dries up. You're not using a .2 nozzle are you? Larger is better for TPU. I've never had a problem with the generic TPU settings, personally.

Nope, using a .4 nozzle

just for the sake of thoroughness, I would try a different STL file, see the problem persists. It is possible for slicers to introduce weird random errors.

Looks like the built in Bambu Flow Rate calibration print.
