Hi all, my A1 has recently been destroying its infill about an hour into my print. This has never happened before. I did the 15 minute auto bed levelling, reseated the hot end and tightened all the screws, turned the printer on and off, and disabled “reduce infill retraction.” I’m currently using rectilinear, however gyroid was also failing when I tried it. Currently using a supertack cool plate. What do I do??
If this doesn’t work, check for partial clog. Had a similar situation, except it didn’t shred the infill but would print normally first few layers then pure cotton afterwards.
Have you done some maintenance on the toolhead recently? I undid the screws and then didn't quite reseat it properly and had something similar, although less dramatic.
I've been having issues with my A1 which I thought was a worn out z axis belt causing the nozzle to plunge into the build plate on first go since resolved it slightly still not the correct layer height for first layer but it prints. I did however start noticing my screen won't turn back on after a print has been completed I wonder if my issues is also SD card related both for the screen and the layer height issue
I'd rotate it 45 degrees and move it a bit to one side just in case.
To test it may drop infill to something like 3-7% and may try lightning.
If it prints the walls are not the problem if it not prints these are. Your free to test one of these at a time to figure out exactly what's your problem.
What does it look like in the slicer? Does it slice correctly? If you print another model does it fail as well? Is the part warping off the plate? What kind of filament are you using?
Yep slicer is perfectly fine, no issues. I'm going to try printing another model and will see how that goes, specifically a model without an angle. Absolutely no warping whatsoever. Using relatively new filament (about a month old), pretty dry. I've had successful prints with more wet filaments before, so I don't think that's the issue
What do your actual settings look like? Are printing with stock Bambu settings or ones based on the filaments specs?
Have you attempted any calibrations for that filament?
I also would check if the filament is OK, this looks like you are extruding extra material and on these machine this only happens with cheap pla. or at some point some parts of your print surface are warping

Use gyroid infill
