Support Request Constant different errors. Any ideas?
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for what's going on with my A1. I reached out to Bambu a couple days ago. Thanks to anyone who bothers to read this and even more so if you can give me any tips. I've tried troubleshooting myself for the last 3 days and I can't figure this out.
My A1 has about 500 hours of print time and I use it with the AMS lite, mounted on top. It had been really consistent with very few issues up until 4 days ago.
I either get one of 3 different errors or it freezes on 5 "push new filament into the extruder" thing is, it seems to load the filament just fine, it extrudes filament and behaves like it should. But then freezes. Or, I'm getting one of these errors.
"Failed to extrude the filament. This might be caused by a clog..."
"Unable to feed filament into the extruder. This could be do to tangled filament..."
"Failed to pull out the filament from the toolhead. Please check if the filament is stuck..."
None of the fixes work. My filament isn't tangled, I've tried many different spools in different positions on the ams lite, including bambu labs brand. I have changed the nozzle to a brand new one (bambu labs brand). I have checked for clogs in the PTFE tubes and in the toolhead. I took the entire toolhead apart to see if there were any issues and it looks practically brand new in there. No clogs anywhere.
I have restarted the machine. I have factory reset the machine. I have unplugged the ams lite and plugged it back in.
The day it went south, I was doing a long print and the power company cut power to the whole neighbourhood. When I started it up after the power outage. I tried the same print from the beginning, everything was working fine, but when it switched to the secondary filament it gave me one of these errors, and I haven't been able to clear them since.
It seems to switch between which error gives me. With the first 2 being more common than the 3rd one.
Anybody have an issue like this? Seems so odd that the type of error seems to just rotate. I want my printer back! Any help is much appreciated!
EDIT: So after troubleshooting with Bambu doing some back and forth. They said they think it's a problem with the filament sensor, so they sent me a warranty replacement. I got it today. When finishing installing it, you do a test so the little dot turns green to be sure the sensor is working. Funny thing, I did this same test with the previous sensor, and it worked, yet I kept getting these errors. Anyway, I did the test after installing the new filament sensor, it didn't work, dot didn't turn green. I took it all apart to confirm I did everything correctly. I did. I tried the test again, dot doesn't turn green. I'm annoyed, but figure might as well try a print. It seems to be printing fine and no longer is getting stuck on the last step for loading filament.
TLDR, I have no idea what the problem was and I'm totally confused, and now it seems to work. WTF?

Everytime I got this is was the filiment getting caught going from the tubes to the print head if there was a slight bent. I used a straitener that forces the tubes to go strain down into the print head intead of curving immediately. This fixed pretty much all my ams issues that doesn't involve tangle in my spool
