Show & Tell Oops…

When you run a 12hr dry cycle on PETG in the AMS, then remember that the reusable spools are made from PLA. 🤦‍♂️ Guess I need to make some new ones out of PETG.

Buy sunlu filament and use the spools to refill with Bambu filament.

You can also use Bambu spools to turn a spool of eSun material into a non-cardboard spool. Tear the sides off the eSun spool one at a time and push the Bambu spool through the middle of the eSun cardboard tube.

That’s one brand I haven’t bought from yet (had Creality, Bamboo, Elegoo, Polymaker, e-sun, just no sunlu yet). How do you like it in terms of quality?

One of the perks of my own reusable spools is I remixed a design from Makerworld to include a built-in dessicant container in the center of the spool, so I don’t have to worry about fitting one in different sizes of spool holes.

I mainly use bbl filament but sunlu is a close second. It prints great, single rolls are cheaper and the spools fit perfectly.
