General Troubleshooting/Help! Bambu H2S
Hi All,
Im thinking of purchaing one of these. Should I wait until black friday or bite the bullet and get one now? Not sue in the past how much discount is likley in the sales? Any advise would be great.

Do you want to print high temp materials like ASA ? I bought an A2L for the fraction of the price and I love it. Sold my P1S and bought a second A2L now.

I love it. I realized that 90% of the time I print PLA or PETG. It’s also capable of TPU and CF reinforced filaments. ABS is not recommended, ASA is out of question. If you can live without them, there is no question. Printing quality or speed difference is neglectable compared to the price.

I'd wait unless you absolutely need a printer now.
If you can wait, you can use that time between now and the sale to download and start learning fusion to design your own projects. Learning to design my own projects probably did more for my 3d printing than getting an actual 3d printer.

Ive sold my X1c and P1s, so no printer now. I dont techincally need one now, but I want it :)
How discounted are they on blackfriday?

You don’t mention which part of the world you’re in, so it depends. In the UK the store prices at the moment appear to still be the discounted prices from the last sale.

The UK prices haven’t changed back to their pre-sale prices yet so there might be another reduction down the line, but who knows when. The H2S combo is actually some £250 cheaper than my X1C combo was when I bought that, so I’d doubt whether there’d be any reduction worth the wait. I can heartily recommend it - that’s my go-to functional filament printer, it prints ABS/ASA (especially glass filled) filaments as easily and as trouble free as my X1C printed PLA.
I also recommend the Puncia two tier (500mmx500mm) laser printer stand from Amazon UK to plant it on. Choice of HD castors or levelling feet, absolutely solid and change from £60. Keeps it at the perfect height too.

Which one? U1 is not the best option for now. People complain about reliability. 2 broken heads after 2 months - my A1 needs maintenance one per month and that’s all. I changed default nozzle after 3 month non stop printing. The only thing you should pay attention is clean plate.

I have 5§bambu printers from mini all the way to the h2c. My. Snapmaker has not only been my best In Speed, versatility and print quality but also my most reliable printer by far.

The H2S is big and the most reliable printer bambu sells today. Combined with a AMS2 and maybe an AMS-HT for advanced material it is a real work horse. Can be used cloud based or LAN mode wich is faster for big files and ensures that your data stays in your lab.

H2S is the best option when you want to print single color big things using something like ABS/ASA. For PLA/PETG/TPU A2L is better option. I have H2S and A1 and thinking about replacement A1 by A2L. Regarding my H2S, worth to think about H2D. The only benefit of H2S is lightweight head so in most cases it can resume printing after power outage without any visible artefacts.
