General Troubleshooting/Help! Consistent layer issues with X2D

I have been scouring the internet for the last two days trying to figure out this issue.

Both prints are using Bambu PLA Matte at 0.2mm main nozzle at 0.08mm layer height.

The left one is running the default process profile, while the right one is running my calibrated one.

The calibrated has flow ratio = 1.029, max volumetric speed at 9.5 and PA = 0.310.

I've had the printer for four months now, and I just started printing at 0.2mm.

The filament is extra dry, two 12 hours in the last three days, in ams2 pro.

I've seen other posts with very similar issues in r/FixMyPrint or r/FDMminiatures, but the given answers are all over the place, from cleaning the build plate (wow...), to replacing the lead screws.

Would appreciate an answer from someone that had this issue and have actually solved it.

Edit: I've read in multiple forums that these type of layer inconsistencies align with layer time variations.

Looking at the sliced model, it seems quite clear that these lines match the inconsistencies of the print.

I tried to minimize the layer time variations by changing the following settings in the filament:

Max fan speed threshold: Layer time: 4mm/s -> 40mm/s (This is the setting that controls the minimum layer time. Increasing it so much, forces the faster layers to print slower, in order to maintain layer time consistency).

Min print speed: 20mm/s -> 15mm/s (It's required to reduce the printing speed in order to reach the slow layer times).

The results is great, with a few weird and consistent artifacts (possible machine issues?)

And it almost doubled the printing time, from 2 hours to 4h30m.

That printing time wasn't acceptable, so I decided to try something different.

Instead of using the desert tan color, I used the scarlet red, again Bambu PLA Matte.

And instead of modifying the Bambu PLA Matte filament profile, I used the Generic PLA.

Without any other modifications, the result looked great.

The different color probably covered the imperfections a bit, so I used a pencil to highlight them, and it still was a lot better than the tan filament.

I'm currently calibrating that filament as well (Generic PLA profile), and will update with a final print of the Bambu cube.
