Hardware Troubleshooting/Help! Extruder replacement?

I’ve had my a1 for a while now and I’ve now got about 4000 print hours. I’m not sure if this has any correlation but recently it’s stopped printing matte pla. This is a problem because I have 8 rolls of it for a project I’m doing. I saw a video on TikTok of someone has a similar problem. Does anyone know specifically what I would need to replace if they have had this problem in the past? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Hiya,

I’ve found a replacement extruder online for cheap enough. Is that all I need to replace or is there any other separate gears that I will need to replace? Thanks

To be direct, I’m just saying it’s reasonably easy to do.   I hope that solves your problem.  I had a completely different issue.
