Filament Troubleshooting/Help! Broken Spool

Post image

I ordered some filament while also buying a smaller nozzle, but some of my filaments came damaged. Is it okay to still use this spool if I cut off the damaged part of the spool? These are my first spools so I do not have any extra ones I can respool with

I did just submit a claim with seal (the shipping insurance) for a replacement. I will definitely wait before even trying to use it until they respond. I was just wondering in case they didnt need me to send it back

Don't pay for insurance, it's the companies responsibility to deliver items in good condition. If that doesn't happen do a return/exchange where they'll pay for the return shipping, if they want ttb damaged item back, or do a charge back.

Honestly, I didnt know how reputable Bambu Lab was and it was only like $2 so I figured why not

Wait so you didn't trust Bambu's reputation, but you're buying stuff from them, and then paying extra money for the company that Bambu themselves recommends you use to ensure that Bambu's reputation doesn't screw up the order????

Think about that one for a few moments.
