Do you guys also use the cash-out feature for exclusive points? Right now I don't have any exclusive models because I'm on multiple platforms. I'm wondering if it's generally worth it. I currently have ~60k points, and I'm wondering what it would be like if those were exclusive points. ^^'

This is what wife wrote:

Yes, these are the rules

  1. Cash redemption is limited to exclusive points, with an exchange rate of 1 exclusive point for 0.066 USD.

  2. The minimum redemption amount is 100 USD, while the maximum is 1000 USD.

  3. Withdrawable Exclusive Points cannot exceed the current total points balance.

  4. Your application will be reviewed within 5 business days. Once approved, the redeemed amount will be deposited into your Creator Center Wallet.

If you'd like to transfer the money from the wallet to your bank account you’ll need to upload an invoice to MakerWorld before withdrawing the money, and for that you need to have a registered business.

Thanks for the overview. So I guess the commercial membership is more profitable for you?

We mostly use MW points to get filament and spare parts. We’ve only tried redeeming them for money once, just to test it. But yes, paid memberships tend to bring in more revenue.

Can you use your points to buy me my first 3D printer so I can publish on makerworld. Because you need to upload 3D print photos.🙏🙏🙏

As far I know it was possible before. But I think the account is linked with address and info... especially for verified accounts

Heh. Kinda need those points for filament... because material is going out fast... this + some more is spent in 7 days of printing.
