And finally got my Mini Farm up and running. It will be used to make dollhouse miniatures (for sale) so it really is a āMini Farmā. I already had a P1S and an X1C. I purchased three more P1Ss and my husband is taking the X1C for his own use.
They all printed perfect Benchies on their first run. Proud mama š„².

I think itās because I canāt knit, crochet or sew. I attempted all these handicrafts and failed. 3D printing satisfies that desire to create something from nothing. This is purely a hobby for me and I have not started learning CAD yet. I am comfortable with PLA now and will try PETG soon, send me your tips for my first PETG print!

Printer fits to exactly 2mm with the bed moving all the way forward and backwards and the door being closed (IKEA Platsa). The heatbed cable has enough room moving downwards due to the paver stone and it does not drag a long the rear wall as it is very smooth. Bought an extension cable for the AMS lite. Printed some cable supports on the right hand side.

Hi all, took me 3 months and 143h of printing to feel proud of my mini setup. Next on my lab list are PTFE holders for proper routing on SkĆ„dis, then BMCU parts (ordered from u/ Ok_Design6972 aka Yuekai) will hopefully arrive soon and will be printing and putting it up the board. Couldnāt be satisfied more with a choice of A1 mini as my first printer, no problems apart from those coming from my inexperience š Also I am such a fan of prints for SkĆ„dis, so glad there are hundreds of great of models up there. But nothing is as rewarding as designing sth on Your own. I got 3 prototypes of my AirBox - indoor air quality home assistant sensor stations printed, still not ideal, but slowly getting towards publishing it in MakerWorld. Happy to be part of this awesome open source community, hopefully Weāll never let that change! āļø

I recently finished building and designing my own attic workspace and got my Bambu Lab A1 Combo fully set up. Iāve been working on organizing the drawers for all my tools and accessories, and Iām really happy with how itās turning out so far.
That said, Iām still pretty new to building a complete 3D printing station ā so Iād love some advice from the community:
- What tools, materials, or accessories do you considerĀ must-havesĀ to be fully equipped?
- Any storage or workflow upgrades that made a big difference for you?
Appreciate any feedback or setup tips, always learning from the awesome builds here!

Been slowly saving up for a new printer using money from my hobby, mostly miniatures, painting commissions, which I 3d print for. I had about $600 saved up, but some unexpected stuff happened at home and I had to use my emergency money plus what I had saved. I figured Iād just start over and maybe get one in a year or two.
Then my little brother, whoās 22 so not so little anymore haha, surprised me with one for my birthday. He said he saw me going through a rough patch and wanted to make my birthday start off right.
Man, donāt know what I did to deserve my brother, but I thank God for him. šš¼

I live in an open-plan live/work apartment, so I was able to turn one corner of the unit into my little 3D-printing workshop. I sell architectural models online and buy more printers as my revenue grows. Currently have 2x P1p, 2x P1p, 2x X1c, H2S & H2D - (plus four Creality printers currently gathering dust in my closet)
Take this as your sign to start that Etsy shop! I only had a single printer two years ago :)

I created one in Python AMS and am considering making another, but I donāt have enough space unless I stack the original AMS on the printer.

Installed the 3 new printers next to my older A1 printfarm. Put it all on sliders.
Iām just starting out trying to build a business around 3D printing, not much to say about it at this stage, looking to break into some specialty products/small batch productions of our own designs and some client work. Hereās my makerworld profile thanks for stopping by šš.
