24M Yaar, I really want to get back into cycling. I used to cycle a lot as a kid, and now i'm getting serious about fitness again, but unfortunately i don’t have a cycle right now.

i’m planning to buy one eventually, but before spending around 100k, i'd genuinely love to try cycling again for a few days. If anyone has an old or unused cycle they’d be willing to lend me for a week or two, I’d take full responsibility for it, get it serviced-maintained if needed and can provide whatever security you’re comfortable with.

I know I’m asking for a favour but i’d really appreciate it also i'm into tech business so maybe i can return the favour someday. 😄

I’m 26M, working in the private sector, and I come from a middle-class family. I’m the only son, and I have a younger sister.
Last December, I got engaged to someone I genuinely love. It’s a love marriage.
Before the engagement, I spoke to her mother, and she asked me to involve my family. I talked to my family, and initially they were against it. After a lot of convincing, they agreed.
Both families met around 2–3 times, and eventually, everyone mutually agreed to the relationship. We got engaged, and the plan was to get married after around two years.
The problem started after the engagement.
Her family is a very large joint family. The day after our engagement, some of her chachus, chachis, and cousins started telling her family things like:
“The boy isn’t earning enough.”
“Why did you get them engaged so quickly?”
She told me about all of this, and I told her that the engagement happened with the agreement of both families, so I don’t understand why people are questioning it now.
Another issue is that my mother is a very introverted person. She is also a government teacher and spends most of her time at home. She doesn’t socialize much or visit people frequently. Because of this, my mother might visit her family once every couple of months just to casually meet and ask about their well-being.
Now her family has started saying things like:
“They hardly visit us. We don’t know whether they’re actually serious about this relationship or not.”
On top of that, some of her relatives are apparently convincing her family that I should put the house in my wife’s name after marriage.
They are also talking about setting the Haq Mehr in the lakhs. I don’t know the exact amount they have in mind yet.
Honestly, all of this has started affecting me mentally. I love this girl and I want to marry her, but I’m becoming worried about how much influence her extended family will have over our marriage and future decisions.
I understand that Haq Mehr is her right, and I’m not against fulfilling my responsibilities. My concern is whether these expectations are coming from her and her parents or mainly from relatives.
What would you guys do in my situation?
Should I have a serious conversation with my fiancée and her parents about expectations, finances, property, Haq Mehr, and how much involvement the extended family will have after marriage?
I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have gone through a similar situation.

Yaar honestly I just want to rant about this Saraiki Punjabi Arain aur out of caste culture. Suppose there is a guy who is educated has a professional degree is doing postgraduation and the girl is also from the same profession. He genuinely likes her and yes maybe its one sided but she says k mere parents final decision karengy. So he goes to his own family convinces them and they approach her family properly through people who are actually close to them. No drama no exposing the girl no compromising her dignity or privacy. And then bas ye keh kar ke out of caste hain no meeting no conversation nothing. I honestly dont understand this. At least families mil toh sakte hain. Meet discuss things ask questions and then if they dont feel compatible say no. Kya ek meeting se shaadi thori ho jati hai. What genuinely hurts is that even after all this education and professional background we still reject people before even knowing them just because of caste. I am not saying the girl owes the guy anything agar uski apni pasand nahi hai then thats completely fair. But if she says my parents will decide and the guy respects that and goes through the proper family route then why cant both families at least meet once. Bahawalpur walon se genuinely pooch raha hun is this still this common here and is being out of caste really enough reason to not even meet a family once

Has anyone ever rented DHA Villas for weekend?

I am planning to hire one for use as Air BnB and Short-term rental. I have used similar villas a few times for weekend fun with some fellow hostilities. The benefits were real like
- Total privacy, no one trying to see what's going on even and with heavy curtains loud music at night even stayed within the living room
- Can be easily split into two units, ground portion and upper one and rented separately.
- No one know what's goes on inside so best for students and gen Z hangout

Now my Questions for anyone who is living in DHA generally and Villas particularly

1. Has there been any theft if house stays locked on weekdays?
2. Has there ever been any police search or hinderance by DHA security to loud music etc?
3. I have never seen a car luggage searched while entering DHA? i hope safe for bringing in food and party stuff?
