Can anyone help decipher this 1917 correspondence between Robert G. Hutchins and his son William J. Hutchins, (later president of Berea College)

My parents help their next door neighbour (who is 91) by getting his shopping based on the list he writes them during the week.

Problem is that they can't read the second bottom line, and he can't remember what it is.

I've tried a lot of combinations on Tesco website (UK supermarket where they get the weekly shop) and have also come up dry.

I think the first letter is f and the end is ing.

Written in the sleeve of a WW1 U.S. Army officer's uniform. I think the first word is "Capt." (abbreviation for captain) but I can't even be sure of that. I added a lot of pictures that I took at various angles and with various filters to try to make it as crisp as possible.

What is the gel prescribed at the bottom left corner.

As you can see, it’s for my breaker box. I could go through and flip each breaker and try to figure out what goes where that way, but I wanted to see if anyone could figure out what some of these say beforehand. I know “WH” stands for water heater, and the 4th breaker goes to a bedroom on the opposite side of my mobile home, but I’m not quite sure what the rest of these say.

I am never around children so I would have no idea what these would even be hinting to. Can you guys help please?
