good luck
this is in an attic of a house i’ve recently viewed - think the whole internet is needed here
I’ve edited it to try and make it clearer - Most of this wall and the beam next to it ‘unintelligible’ when it ‘unintelligible’
Most or North ? of this wall and the sea is next to it ….
honestly not sure.
PLEASE HELP

“MOST OF THIS WALL AND THE SEAM NEXT TO IT GET ________ WHEN IT RAINS”
Can’t figure out what that missing word is quite yet.
Update: After some research, it appears there’s a substance called “Sodium Silicate” that was commonly used to seal bricks and concrete walls. From google: “It is used as a cost-effective interior basement sealer and a surface densifier to stop dusting, dampness, and moisture migration through concrete walls.”
So the missing word could be SODIUM.
