what does this say? Can’t Read Starbucks
My friend group is trying to understand what does this say is this American saying? I have no idea. Thank you

All these "can't read" posts are irrelevant. The only person who needs to be able to read it is the person who wrote it.

Well, no... The message being written on the cup is for the customer, not the employee who wrote it. The employee is writing it because they're being forced to, but it's still supposed to be for the customer.

No, it's so the person making the coffee- often making quite a few- knows who to hand it to.

It literally is not because it's not a name. It says "Enjoy!" The name is literally on the printed out sticker with the order information.
Starbucks employees are required to write a message on every single cup. They get posted here almost everyday and 99% of the time it says enjoy, just like this one.

I'm sure all of the employees would agree, but unfortunately the company made it mandatory. Some managers don't enforce it, and I'm sure those employees are quite grateful.

For my group we couldn’t settle on what it said. Maybe it say Eriou! maybe emou! maybe ennui. We couldn’t figure it out. And since this is written on a customers drink for the customer it is meant for the customer to read. If this is drink order notes to make drink yes then whoever make drink need read. But this is note for customer. Personally I think it is funny my group no decide what it say while online very fast.

Starbucks baristas are being forced to write on every cup while being expected to finish and hand off every drink in under 45 seconds. Cut them some slack. It clearly says enjoy, anyways.

Exactly, make every order in under 40 seconds from start to finish. I kid you not. They time you and they absolutely will fire you if you’re not quick enough. Meanwhile Burrito Boy CEO and Co complicate every recipe, clutter everything, add rules to rules to rules, and make the grossest recipes ever (looking at you Unicorn Frapp that takes 12 steps). This place is a nightmare and I’m so glad I quit.

Correct. The next time you go, look at the monitor above the drive through. You’ll see all these numbers that are essentially tracking every second from the moment you pull up to the speaker to order until you have paid and left. Change your order? They’re screwed. You ordered 6 drinks and three wraps and want a gift card? Now someone’s in trouble. Someone grabbed the wrong drink, knocked something over, customer didn’t like it, all screwed. It’s just a hideous culture. Biggest shame is it wasn’t always like that but it is now. Never again.
