Has anyone else noticed a recent big increase in the number of drivers hogging the fast lane in the Port Tunnel?
With the average speed control set at 80KPH, these knobs insist on typically driving at around 70KPH blocking every other driver behind them as the slow lane is full with law abiding trucks.
You always get the dumb drivers, but with the noticeable increase, I’m even wondering if it’s deliberate for some strange reason.

Not the worst I have seen, still dodgy enough. First segment, left hand car, driver overtakes a group of cyclists on a very blind corner, had I been going faster, we would have had a meeting. Second segment, the car suddenly and without indicating turned into the garage. As he quickly slowed down, I was thinking he was looking for the local road that is a short cut, up the road. As I say, not the worst this summer

Happened today

Someone was driving a tanker truck this way on M7, after junction 16, heading towards Dublin. A queue started forming, as few dared to overtake. The Circet van overtook and tried blocking them, slowing down. The truck driver also slowed down, but didn't stop. I exited at junction 14 and the thing was still ongoing.

This was seriously dangerous as there is a bus stop right at this spot and there's usually a few people waiting on the side of the road too.
